BEWARE: An employee from this company demanded $160 cash from my 18 year old daughter before he would release her vehicle. My daughter was staying with a friend at her apartment and when she was leaving, the male employee in the process of ""hooking up"" her car. The male employee informed my daughter that the only way he wouldn't tow her car is if she gave him $160 cash immediately. This is a scam. I wonder how often this is done to young college women? Pretty good work for doing absolutely nothing. I can see paying a fee for the service call, somewhere in the amount of $40 - $50 dollars, but to demand $160 cash. This is extortion. They are holding their car until payment is made. I just wanted to let everyone know, just in case your daughter, spouse, friend, etc. is faced with the same issue, with this unethical company....DWAYNE'S TOWING COMPANY. Question of the day, if it is a legitimate business, or business practice, why are they demanding cash and not allowing you to pay by check? \r
I wonder how much of this is actually declared? My next call is going to be to the IRS. I'm sure they will love to investigate this practice.\r
Pros: Absolutely None.
Cons: Will demand Cash. Do not pay.
