My family and I have enjoyed dining at Durant's for about 50 years now and it is the standard by which I measure all steakhouses! The food is EXCELLENT and the atmosphere is WONDERFUL. Absolutely one of the greatest steakhouses in town. It is very refreshing to see a local institution that does not rest on it's laurels but is constantly improving their food and service. Food and service are always top notch. Have recommended to many friends who have always been equally pleased. more

The Way Fine Dining Should Be 7/10/2002

When the good Lord created fine dining, He had Durant's in mind. This IS the quintessential restaurant in Phoenix for a date, prom, holiday dinner or just because. Tuxedo clad staff and charming service only make the occasion that much better. The menu is a wonderful selection of grand old American fine dining classics and the wine list has both popular and rare finds to offer. Go for the steak for the entree, the debris for the appetizer and a glass of Merlot to wash it all down. It doesn't get any better than this.
