Be sure to read this whole review - trust me - it's worth it!!! In the past, I always had so called stylists that either didn't listen, didn't care, were rude or incapable. It didn't matter if I was in a big city salon or a small town shop...I'd always spend way too much time & money on a cut/color that I was never really happy with and I'd spend the drive home thinking of how I can fix it. Then Krystlyn did my hair and I LOVE IT! I feel sexy and beautiful. I got tons of compliments on my hair. Plus "K" made me feel welcome and put me at ease (none of that uncomfortable silence sitting in the chair which I hate). She is one of the best kept secrets in the industry. She should be in New York or Beverly Hills because she's THAT good! She's very knowledgeable, fast, and quality driven. She has passion for her craft and it shows in her work AND her rates are totally reasonable, she gives a military discount and is super efficient. Recently though I freaked out when I learned that Krystlyn is NO LONGER at Dupont Hair but, it turns out that she is opening her own salon just a few doors away from the old place (McNeil Station next to Starbucks). I am posting this in case any one else was wondering where she went. I just know how hard it was for me to find a great stylist and I would want to be told if she moved or was working somewhere else. If you are looking at reviews because you are thinking of going to Dupont Hair ..... don't bother.... cuz the talent has left the building and is setting up shop down the street so do yourself a favor and call Krystlyn ... 253-359-4366. Today was my first time using DuPont Hair's services. I had heard such great things about Kristilyn that I just had to find out for myself. I had really curly, crazy hair (that I attempted to fix myself) and it was a mess when I came in. Kristilyn knew what she was doing with coloring it. My hair turned out to be so FABULOUS!!! I am no longer going to attempt to cut and style my own hair. DuPont Hair will get my business as long as Kristilyn is the one is able to style it. And the staff is really great. They kept me laughing the whole time. Such a great experience at a great price too! more

I have been going to Dupont Hair and Nails for 3 years now. My daughter and I get the best service from our stylist, Krystilyn! She is professional on all accounts! When I visit this establishment, I feel absolutely at home! The interaction between all employees is fun and professional, never a dull moment! Altho, the receptionist is crazy, we all love him...LOL!!!! more

Good: my color is the best! krystlyn did my hair and she definitely knows what shes doin she put in red and blond and colored the rest back to my natural and i have really curly hair so its not easy to work with. it is so even and perfect!. more

The service that is provided at DuPont Hair and Nails is wonderful. I have gotten almost everything done there - mani, pedi, acrylics, haircut (BEST OF ALL), color, waxing. Everything that I have had done was to the best standards. I think the best part of the salon is the stylist, Krystlin. She knows exactly how to do my hair that still makes it short, but very feminine. The lines on my neck are almost the best part, they flow with the natural curvature of my neck, and I've even had men compliment the lines that she has done. She does a SPECTACULAR job!!! I even live 20 miles away and will drive out of my way to go and get the Best haircut EVER, by Krystlin. more

This is my one and only favorite nail/hair salon! I can get my nails and hair at the same time. I have been to many other salons. But I have tov say, they are the best. I recommend this to anyone. more

I totally agree with Amanda,except for i think i came in kinda late with the new management. But my hairstylist and my nailtek, is Krystlen and Lena. They do a WONDERFUL job.
