Highly recommend. I tried other clinics in this area and have found Dunn's therapists to be second to none. So glad we found them, excellent care, knowledge, and PTs on staff. Rarely have to wait, easy to make appointments. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 1/21/2013

Our entire family have been patients of Dunn Physical Therapy and have had nothing but positive experiences and treatment...from the our PT Kenny Biggs, to the front office staff, billing, etc...all have been helpful, concerned and made treating our sports injuries, arthritis and other injuries a positive experience. Their follow up is excellent, they are accommodating with scheduling and very pleasant to deal with. I can honestly say it is a family like atmosphere! I highly recommend Dunn for whatever your PT needs are!!!! more

Great Physical Therapy in a Nice Atmosphere 12/13/2010

All of the people who work at Dunn PT, from the front desk to the techs to the therapists are very friendly and knowledgeable. My physical therapist did a good job of treating my shin splints and getting me back in to running without pain. I never had a problem with appointment availability or billing. more

These guys are the best 4/9/2010

I went to Dunn for therapy on my surgically repaired knee. The staff quickly built up strength in my knee and identified the root cause of my knee pain (my hip muscles were weak, forcing extra strain on my knees when I ran). I'm happy to say that rehab went spectacularly and my knee is fixed. On top of that, I always had a good time with the staff. They are all friendly and quick to share a laugh with you. I would highly recommend Dunn for anyone who needed physical therapy. Pros: Knowledgeable and friendly staff more

World Class Experience 4/6/2010

I first had the opportunity to visit Dunn PT in October, 2009. I was referred by a co-worker that raved about them. I spent the next 3-4 weeks in therapy. Each and every time I visited I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, by name, regardless of who was at the front desk. The therapists all are skilled and willing to do whatever is necessary for success. The PT assistants were equally as skilled in their roles and always made me comfortable and welcome. They took care of everything, I just sat back and enjoyed the therapy. Pros: Professionalism, Awesome Staff, Friendly, Effective, more

Incompetent Billing Management 3/19/2010

First, I must say that I like the physical therapist that worked with me. He's the reason Dunn is getting 3 stars instead of 0 stars. What I found unacceptable about Dunn was their billing management. Here's what happened. I'd been going to Dunn for physical therapy since November 2009 and I had scheduled in advance many therapy sessions with them all the way into 2010. In late December 2009, I got a call from their administration staff telling me that my insurance plan allowed me to schedule two more therapy sessions in 2009. They encouraged me to use those benefits before the end of 2009. So I scheduled more therapy sessions with Dunn, in addition to those I had already previously scheduled. Some time in January 2010, Dunn's administration staff told me that I had exceeded my insurance plan benefits in 2009. My insurance company refused to pay Dunn for two of the therapy sessions in 2009. They told me that I was responsible for paying Dunn for those sessions. I told them that it was their administration staff that called me to tell me that I had unused benefits. It was their administration staff that encouraged me to use those benefits. In response, Dunn admitted that their administration staff had mistakenly thought that I had unused benefits when I did not. But they told me that I still had to pay them for their services. It was unacceptable to me that Dunn admitted to their mistake but I had to pay for their mistake. I brought this matter to their manager who spoke to the owner. But they refused to waive any of their charges even though it was their fault. They told me that I still had to pay because I was responsible for all payments not covered by insurance. So I paid. But this experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I cancelled all my therapy sessions with Dunn and changed to a different company. That was back in January 2010. In March 2010, I got a call from Dunn telling me that they did not charge my credit card for the co-pay of one of my therapy sessions. I checked my records and they were correct about forgetting to charge me. So I paid them. But this incident is just another example of their incompetence when it comes to billing management. If you are considering going to Dunn, please be careful with their billing management practices. Pros: Good physical therapist Cons: Incompetent Billing Management more

Great personalized service 12/12/2008

I have been a patient at Dunn PT at least 6 times in 8 years. From my first visit when I got lost and their receptionist stayed on the phone talking me through directions, I knew I had found a place that was different from the rest. Now I feel like a part of their family. The front desk is warm and know me by name. Over the years I have gotten to work with several of their therapists and have loved every one of them! Thanks Dunn for all you've helped me recover from! Pros: kind people, pilates, babysitting Cons: can't think of any!!! more

Best Therapists in Wake County 12/12/2008

I have been treated several times by Christopher Dunn at Dunn Physical Therapy and have found their whole practice to be most professional and caring. They zero in on the problem and see it through to the end. If it hadn't been for them, I wouldn't have been able to walk again as quickly as I did. I found the front desk to be most friendly and from there on it only got better! I had absolutely no problem with making appointments, billing or their submitting to my insurance. I would recommend Dunn Physical Theraphy to anyone who wants to be treated like you are their only patient! Pros: Professional and knowledgeable staff, beautiful office Cons: Can't think of one more

BILLING NIGHTMARE WITH THIS GROUP! 11/16/2008

Worst experience ever! I treated with this group 3 years ago, and got a bill in the mail from them 2 1/2 years later. They forgot to submit the expenses to the insurance company, and now they want me to pay! I spoke to my primary physician and they said that they've never heard of such a thing. Pros: The PT there was friendly. Cons: THE BILLING AND OFFICE STAFF JUST AREN""T WORTH IT more

Great Service 4/8/2008

Stopped by to fill out paperwork after referral and was given a full tour of the facility and introduced to the friendly staff. They have many private treatment rooms, a therapy pool, and small gym. The PT, Sheri, is wonderful. She's gentle, knowledgeable, and after three weeks I've experienced great improvement. I highly recommend them. Pros: Great staff, great location, excellent therapy more

Would not go back 11/6/2007

While I liked the original therapist I had, I did not like one of the others I had to have when he wasn't available. I also did not like a couple of the attendants during a few of the sessions. They seemed more concerned with their time schedule than my comfort, and I did not think they were friendly at all. The office staff up front was just OK, and I found them somewhat abrupt on the phone at times. Also, the music they play on the phone when you are on hold is too loud (I think it's a radio station because you often hear the djs talking) - something soft and soothing would be more appropriate. In all, I would not recommend them based on my experiences there, and I do not intend to go back. Pros: Liked primary therapist very much. Cons: Did not like substitute therapist and also did not like the assistants. more

Best place for physical therapy treatment 11/23/2005

I absolutely loved my visit to Dunn Physical Therapy. I tore my ACL and was referred there by my doctor. The staff was the nicest I had ever met and I thought the professionalism throughout the office was wonderful. I felt right at home and in good hands. I would recommend Dunn Physical Therapy without thinking twice. Pros: Flexible schedule, wonderful staff, professionalism more
