My family went to Duke's the other night, the service was EXCELLENT, the beer was cold, the food was tasty and the portions were well above average.

I don't believe all the 5 star reviews, you're not keeping it honest Dukes. We stopped in after a little league practice and couldn't enjoy the place at all. Lots of drunk bums! L...

Another one BITES the dust!! 2/22/2011

I don't believe all the 5 star reviews, you're not keeping it honest Dukes. We stopped in after a little league practice and couldn't enjoy the place at all. Lots of drunk bums! Lots of cigarette smoke inside the eating area, loud, cracking speakers and the strong smell of vomit. The sticky tables and wooden number sign they make you take are gross and they made us keep a dirty stained stuffed animal as our ""tab reminder""??? I thought Dukes was totally unprofessional and horrible service. Fries were the only decent food and there was a MOUNTAIN of them. Come to find out after calling when we got home, we were served BY THE OWNER! Yikes. No Bueno!!! Save your money!! more

Never Heard of this Place 12/21/2010

I'm looking for a good food place in Temecula and stumbled upon this website. Reading the reviews is hilarious. The last 5 are all written in the same week in September and sound like the owner wrote them--they all seem to know the hours and specials and exactly what is on the menu. The place is an icon in Temecula? I've lived here for 11 years and I've never heard of the place. I bet it sucks. more

Yummy....... 9/25/2010

I came in with my family last week and it was a great experience! Our kids had fun and the food was really good. We loved the chips and salsa bar and the margaritas were the best we've had at a restaurant. We had the tri-tip which was awesome and hot wings. The cost was very reasonable. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive so our stay there was definitely ""5 Star""! We will surely be back! more

BBQ/Mexican Food & great Margarita's too 9/23/2010

Duke's in Temecula is an icon in South Temecula. Known for their mesquite Tri-Tip, Chicken, Carne Asada and fresh seafood. Their salads are what we come here for. The Mesquite Chicken salad is extremely tasty and is offered in the half size and full size portion. My husband gets the Salmon salad which comes in a cool taco shell bowl with a generous and fresh portion of salmon and all the yummy ingredients. more

BEST Happy Hour & Catering around! 9/22/2010

My girls and I go there for Happy Hour (2-7 pm M-F) a few times a week. It is the longest and definately the best in town!! They have 25 oz Domestic drafts for just $3. WOW, what a deal. They have margs for only $3.75 too. I saw they were recently rated #3 in all of Riverside for their margaritas too. Restrooms and restaurant was VERY clean and servers were warm and friendly. This place has personality! more

Extreme Tex-Mex, STIFF drinks and COLD beer too! 9/22/2010

Our family went to dukes and were pleasantly suprised by the awesome smell of freshly cooked tri-tip and chicken in the air and a warm friendly restaurant with abundant smiles & TV'S galore! Duke's is very kid friendly & also has great HDTV's for sports viewing, video games for the kids and awesome food and GREAT! service too! We ordered the Tri-Tip sandwich, Carnitas sandwich, Chicken sandwich & the pork ribs for the adults and mini burgers and chicken fingers for the kids. The server was very friendly and knowledgable, answered all questions with ease and the food was out and to our table within 10-15 minutes. The tri-tip, chicken and carnitas sandwiches were overflowing with meat. They were all delicious (we mix and matched). The kids meals had oreos, fries, drinks and of course the chicken and the burgers. Kids love 'em. Place is extremely kick-back, clean, open and airy. We watched sports on the TV as kids played games and even won an ipod and a stuffed animal over at the games. We will be back for their awesome Monday Night football specials. They also have specials everyday of the week, have a website and facebook page, free Wi-Fi and bathrooms are clean and well stocked. We will be back MONDAY!! Hey, outside patio is HHUUGGEE and is pet friendly too. more

Temecula's best food option! 9/22/2010

Absolutely my favorite Tex Mex in town! I also brought my kids in with me and I found Duke's very kid-friendly! Love the salsa bar and the Tri-Tip is definitely the best I've had. The staff is great and the restaurant is kept spotless, especially the bathrooms. Margaritas are really good too! I will be back to try the Mahi Mahi tacos!! more

Major Disappointment 7/23/2010

Finally tried this place ""dukes"" There is absoloutely NOTHING mesquite about their food. It's horribly dry and overcooked. TASTELESS. The bathrooms were SCARY and HORRIBLE with puddles of some unknown substance on the floor didnt even use it! Server was ssslllooowww and rude. we said goodbye to the cash register when we left because the server was NOWHERE to be found! MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Pros: outside patio Cons: dry tasteless food, tiny portions, sticky tables, restrooms! more

OVER PRICED DRYYY CHICKEN AND SNOBBY SERVERS!! 5/30/2010

Very disappointed in ""Dukes Mesquite Broiler"" the server had a sucker in her mouth she kept slurping on, very unappetizing. Expensive food came out 30 minutes after we ordered very dry and tasteless. had to ask twice if we were forgotten. ""slurpy"" told us that the chicken is always dry after 4pm cuz it sits all day....eewww?? Bathrooms were vandalized and DISGUSTING....HORRIBLE SMELL!!! We will NOT return to ""dukes mesquit broiler"" Pros: VIDEO GAMES Cons: DRY MEAT, HORRIBLE SERVICE, OVER PRICED, STALE CHIPS, DIRTY more

Delicious Grilled Food 11/10/2009

by www kidsrhungry . com - Dukes' is really cool because it has all these fake fish and surfers, scuba divers and boats hanging from the ceiling. It looks like you are in the ocean looking up to the surface of the water. It is a Tex-Mex barbeque place. Their menu is mostly mexican but they also have burgers and sandwiches. They have a tortilla chip and salsa bar which is free. There is only one type of salsa but the salsa is very tasty. There are chunks of fresh tomatoes and onions and jalapenos in it. My sister thought that the chips were a little greasy, but I loved them. I ate the Baja Fish Mesquite Taco from the regular menu. There were two tacos and came with beans and mexican rice. You have a choice of fried or mesquite (which means grilled) and a choice of corn or flour tortilla. There was cabbage inside. It tasted smoky, like freshly grilled. It came with a special sauce that tasted sort of like tartar sauce and thousand island. My sister ate the kids Bean and Cheese Burrito with Rice. It came with a drink and an Oreo :) There is a lot of beans in the burrito but not enough cheese, if you love cheese. It wasn't spicy at all. The rice was kind of sweet tasting. They also serve breakfast and I would love to try that next time I go to Duke's. Pros: Grilled Meats & Lots of Choices more
