Dubunne Day Spa

I usually only go to DuBunne for brazilian waxes ( by the way... Carol is the BEST! ), but most recently I had the opportunity to have a mini spa facial with Nicole F. & a bamboo body scrub by Anglea L. I can now say that EVERYTHING that DuBunne has to offer to their customers is AMAZING! Every staff member is extremely polite & geniunely concerned about your well-being while at DuBunne . The staff is very attentive to your needs (especially with drinks). Most recently I was at DuBunne for a bachelorette party & we had a party with about 20 girls... & still the staff was there for us whenever we needed them. All of our appointments were scheduled perfectly & the outdoor patio area was BEAUTIFUL!!! Perfect for any occasion. Pros: Excellent Spa treatments & wonderful staff Cons: None whatsoever more

This was my first time to Dubanne's and I was accompanied by my Mom and my Aunt. Even though we had chosen different types of services, the result was the same and we were in a state of total relaxation. From the time we stepped foot into dubanne's the ladies at the front desk captured us with their warm hospitality. We were escorted to the room that you change into something more comfortable, which turned out to be an elegant, beautful, soothing shower area with a Sauna that smelled of delicious tropical fruits. The sweet smell came from the shower exfoliators provided in huge margarita glasses. The swedish message that I recieved for an hour was extremely relaxing and stress relieving. It was so soothing that I didn't want it to end. After my message was complete, I was taken to a room that was called "The Relaxing Room", where I waited for my next service, which was a deep cleansing facial. This room had comfortable recliner chairs, with the view of beautiful island beaches with white sands and clear blue water. All you could hear was the sound of ocean waves rolling in and out. I felt like I had walked onto the island of my choice. Next, I was taken to a room to recieve my facial that left my face feeling rejuvenated and clean. The tranquil aromas from the facial products made me drift into a dreamy state. I was then given the option to return to the"relaxing room" for some juice or wine, or I could go to the Sauna in the shower room. I chose to experience the sauna for about 10 minutes. Finally, I was re-introduced to the tropical shower exfoliators while taking a warm, muscle messaging, relaxing shower to end my perfect day of pampering. My experience with Dubanne's has been ongoing ever since. Pros: Customer Service is Excellent!!!! Cons: None more

DuBonne is tucked away off a busy street and you would never guess you were about to enter a romantic, relaxing, conveniently located spa experience! My husband and I start our anniversary at DuBonne each year. It is a wonderful way to start the day with mimosa's, rose petal jacuzzi bath for two, discussing the previous year of marriage with soft music and the waterfall in the Japanese Pavillion in the background. We then move to a side by side massage and either lunch, pedicures or another service. The staff is very personal and I never feel rushed. The prices are fair and I always leave wanting to book my next appointment. It is my favorite couples spa experience by far...and we try them everywhere we travel! Relax and enjoy! Pros: Quaint, reasonably priced, nice atmosphere and everyone is very nice and good at their job! Cons: Not a ton of space for a girls day out - more of a couples or an individual experience. more

I love this place! I found it when I lived in the area, a little hidden gem. La Stone Therapy Massage is the best! I did the "Queen for a Day" treatment the day before my wedding and it was excellent. The staff are all wonderful, they even keep thier voices soothing so from the moment you enter the door until you leave you are relaxed. After your massage you are welcomed with cool drinks and invited to stay and rest as long as you like. I hate to go home. It is what I ask for every birthday! Pros: Relaxing from beginning to end. I love DuBunne's Day Spa. I recently used a wonderful Mother's Day Certificate to enjoy this wonderful spa. I have tried many spas in the area and always return for their fabulous service. Everyone is treated like royalty from their plush robes to Mimosas on request. Very tranquil setting, wonderful knowledgeable staff, just a wonderful experience all around. I started with a hydrotherapy bath which was amazing with beautiful rose petals scattered in the water in my own private soaking room, then proceeded to enjoy a Hot Stone Therapy Massage which was just heavenly, soon after followed a facial with wonderful Linda, and finished up my day with a Pedicure. It is such a joy to go to DuBunne's that I ask for a gift certificate for every occasion and love to give gift certificates to all of the wonderful ladies in my life. A definate A+++++ experience. My day at the Du Bunne Spa was a total surprise to me. It was my birthday and my husband told me to be at a certain address at a certain time; I never would have imagined that I was going to be pampered at a spa!!! It was my first time at a spa, but I expected my time there to be nice, as my husband does extensive research on just about everything, but I had NO clue it would be that wonderful!! Absolutely everyone was was polite and very helpful. I started with a candlelit bath (awwww) then followed up with a full body massage and ended with a deep scalp massage. It was sooooo relaxing and extensive; just what I needed. I would recommend DuBunne to absolutely anyone needing a break from everyday stresses, or just a "special" day like I had. Needless to say all my friends were jealous that day, and righfully so!!!! :) Can't wait to go back!!!! Keep up the great work DuBunne!!! Absolutely LOVE IT! Like a mini-vacation without leaving home. Everything about Dubunne is terrific - The atmosphere, people, treatments. It is the whole package. Even the smells make you relax. You just melt away. I've been going for many years, tried different treatments and have never been disappointed. I have tried other spas on vacations but they don't compare to Dubunne!! I have been trying for years to get to your wonderful spa. I would make an appointment and something would come up and I couldn't make it. I am going to keep trying until I get there. I have heard a many stories about the wonders of DuBunne's Spa. I am coming so please look for me. I will be the one who is tense from her head to her toes. I have been going to DuBunne Day Spa for various treatments for years. It is the best place in the South Bay for services. The one on one services are great. You are pampered and feel refreshed when you leave. I always leave relaxed and in some cases rested depending on the service. The facials are great and my skin feels very clean and soft when finished. I go there for a simple brow wax or to have my eyelashes colored and a simple treatment like this makes me feel wonderful. It's like entering a different town and the employees always look after you and want to make you as comfortable as possible. Located close to my neighborhood I enjoy going to DuBunne and can't wait to go again soon. The massage will take you to a place where you never been been before. You can choose from a light touch and ask for a deeper touch during the massage. This is where you can get an out of body experience and get in touch with your spiritual side. The rooms are cozy lite with candles and the music is so soothing that once your massage starts don't be afraid to drift off to sleep. The massage will allow you to surrender to what is going on to your body, You mind and body will crave this experience. After you massage you can enjoy the quite room where you can continue to relax if you choose to read a book or just sit there and ponder over the massage that you just received, or you can watch the TV screen which have different visual screnes from rolling of the waves of the water on a beach, a waterfall, and a beautiful sunset. My husband and I went to Dubunne for his birthday for the couple's massage. We had no idea what a treat we were in for. From the moment that we stepped foot inside of Dubunne, we were greeted warmly by the staff. Once inside and to begin our spa treatments we were treated as though we were royalty or something! This is the type of service that I enjoy receiving for my bucks....hands down top of the line service that is not only friendly and professional but also personable, which goes a long way in my book. The massage session was the best massage experience I've ever had, so needless to say I will be scheduling regular massages at Dubunne from now on. I have also utilized Dubunne's waxing services, which are also on the same excellent level as the massage service. Dubunne, because of its quaint size, has the ability to give you that personal service that has become lost in our busy, profit-intense society. This is my second year there it is very cozy. My best thing to do there is massages and facials the people there is great very kind and sweet. When you feel stress you should visit them you will love it !!! more

This is the quintessential personal spa experience. Like the bar cheers everyone knows your name. From the front desk to the massage therapist everyone is glad to see you. Not hoity attitude here. The building is spread over a quarter of a city block. It has lots of flavors inside and out. The secret garden is fun for couples or a small intimate party of BFF's. It is very tropical in nature and not the norm of cookie cutter franchised spas. The inside has lots of nooks and areas of delight. The quiet room has a flat screen TV with Caribbean oceans nudging the shore. The detail in all the treatment rooms is quite pleasing. I have had treatments all over the world and this place and it's therapists are right up there with the best. Costs are reasonable and it is easy to reach. They are generous with the food and drink amenities, always a tasty cappuccino on hand, as well as expect granola bars, fruits, juices, and teas. I purchased the Ultimate Spa Experience for Two for myself and my sister in law visiting from NYC. I took her right there after she got off of her flight. Instead of being so stressed she was so relaxed and ready to be on vacation. This is the place to go, try it out and bring a friend, best when shared! more

DuBunne holds a special place in my heart. For years, I've been struggling with health issues and after a friend of mine suggested that I go to DuBunne to get relief for my aches and pains, I finally was able to breathe a sigh of relief. The first time I went I got out of my car & I thought, "Nothing else has worked, but I'll give it a try". The cheerful greeting from the gals at the front desk made me feel welcome. I was given the tour and I was astounded by how much great space was used! From the outside I didn't think that a beautiful place like this had so much to offer. Nestled near neighborhoods and small businesses, I didn't sense the stress of busy street noise, nor the hustle and bustle of the city. All of the therapists (male and female) were kind and considerate, though I do have a favorite. I've told her many times that she has a gift. Every time I went there for my Swedish/deep tissue massage combo, she always greeted me with a warm smile and a gentle hug. They wouldn't have known at the time, but I think that aside from the massage therapy, I really needed the kindness that they've always provided. I felt at home. From the delicious smelling lotions to the soothing heat pack, I've bought many items from there. it's been a while since I've been there since my surgery, but as soon as I can, I'm planning on visiting my friends at DuBunne. Dubanne is a place of tranquility and relaxation. The services range from simple spa treatments to more elaborate ones, such as the "hot rock" massage. You must visit the rain room where you feel that you've been transposed to a magical setting. more

DuBunne Day Spa has one of the best massages I have ever had. It is the La Stone Massage. I would describe it as 75 minutes of pure pleasure. From the moment the stones touch your skin you are in heaven. The massage therapist will place stones on different places on your body and then will take hot stones to start the body massage. One of the places that they place very tiny hot stones is between your toesand stay there for a while, when they remove them it relieves soo much tension that it feels like you've had a one hour foot massage. DuBunne also offers a perfectly delictable pregnancy massage. I had it in the last trimester of my pregnancy and it was fantastic. They have a special pillow and mat that alows you to lay down on your stomach (which in your third trimester of pregnancy is a delicacy )The therapist knows all the right places and muscles to massage that leave you feeling renued and ready to face the end of your pregnancy. It is a must!! more

I have enjoyed some of the soothing services here at DuBunne Spa and I loved them all. The hot stone foot massage was heavenly. There's plenty of choices for facials and peels that leave your skin so smooth. I usually get the swedish massage that leaves me stress free. I love the amenities such as the steam room, showers, teas, and scrubs. Customer Service is wonderful, after I got a facial and was waiting for my massage appointment someone made a mimosa for me. My mother-in-law got me the Queen for a day package for my 40th birthday, and it was really great. All of the treatments were wonderful, plus the spa itself has a lot of added benefits. There is an amazing sauna/steam room and showers with your choice of scented shower gels. In addition to free juices and teas like most spas have, they also put out a variety of fruits to snack on while you're waiting. A really nice spa overall. I would definitely go back.
