Relaxation at its best 2/6/2012

I always have a great day at Dubunne. I spend the whole day and take advantage of all the amenities. The staff is fantastic and takes great care of me. My only critique is about the therapists - I always get a massage that is pleasant and feels good, but often not as theraputic as I would like. This time I paid extra for a "combo" massage, but did not feel that my problem areas were fully addressed. I'll still keep coming back, it is still an overall great experience. more

Saturday Retreat 1/25/2012

I really loved the facial I received. I normally make appointments during the week and will from now on continue to spa during the week only. Saturdays are to crowded. The staff seemed a bit confused in the beginning on who was who and where everyone was supposed to go. more

Peace at last, Peace at last! 1/20/2012

Omgosh!!! I arrived at Dubbune's for the very first time and requested a tour of the facility as I was waiting for my appointment. The minute I stepped beyond the doors of the reception I felt an overwhelming feeling of peace and relaxation beyond my expectations! By the time the tour was complete...Ahhhh!It was time for my treatment. I've actually been a totally different person at work as a result of this refreshment!!! I know I'll be do for another treatment very soon!; ) Highly recommended. Staff was wonderful. Lori, you're the best! I will be back. more

Staff and Service 1/19/2012

The staff members are always courteous and professional. The services are satisfying. Becky did a great job with the "sore-no-more" massage and wrap! There is only one disappointment- The product used for the bio-slimming wrap. Four weeks of consetutive visits damaged my skin. Had to cancel visit 5, it's almost a month later and my skin is getting back to normal. I just question the product, feel as though I wasted my money, because the results were not as advertised. more

Monica's Great Hands 1/19/2012

Ms. Monica, who did my massage might be a little woman but she has great hands. Monica has a great conversation and the softest touch, I will surely request her again. Jane who assisted me with the whirlpool bath was so pleasant and friendly made my bath experience very relaxing. The only surprise I encountered was at the front desk I thought since I was a life time member that I paid member price of $80 dollars but I had to pay the $125 because I am not a platinum member thank goodness I had some extra cash other than that it was great as usual!!!! more

Tub and massage 1/17/2012

Lori was wonderful, thorough, and paid attention to my more sore areas. Debbie, the tub attendant, waited for me at the end of my massage session and I went straight to the bath without waiting for it to get drawn. Tomasin was cheerful and sweet as usual. Your new person at the front, I think her name was Charlotte or Charlene was very nice. Lea is very attentive. I know how busy you all were Sunday and yet you make me feel like you had time for me. One of my favorite persons, Nikki, makes my day and I know that everything will be OK if Nikki was there. She knows how to fix things if something out of the ordinary happens. more

Everything was excellent except that we left massage room to go to waiting room but turned around to go back to massage room. I believe we should have been able to go from tub to table. shower had not been cleaned after the last person. didn't get to take shower. more

    The treatment area's elegant decor--fountains, warm candlelight, wicker furniture--immediately instills a sense of peace. Golden hues inspire calm and prepare patrons for serious pampering. The immaculate locker room offers a plethora of amenities, from razors to hair products. In addition to cushy robes, the spa offers disposable panties and terry gowns to wear beneath robes for the modest.

    The Service
    The Napa Valley Escape delivers one-and-a-half hours of opulence: First, you're exfoliated with mud-like mixture containing grapeseed extract, then "baked" in a thermal wrap; a scalp massage leads into 20 minutes of cocooned quiet, followed by a relaxing bath in a whirlpool tub tinted pink from rose oil. Afterward, a 30-minute massage is expertly rendered by gentle, but firm hands. During the Visibly Smoother Facial, the esthetician constantly monitors comfort, massaging hands and feet and quietly talking you through the light peel and cleansing. Skin glows, if only for a day.
