The Dubliner is by far the best Irish pub in DC. 8/9/2011

Conveniently located to Union Station, I frequent the Dubliner for happy hour drinks or dinner. Their food is always delicious - (I highly recommend their salmon!) and they have great daily dinner specials. The staff is warm and welcoming and the customers are a great mix of locals and tourists staying at the Phoenix Park (hotel above the restaurant). Big plus: They have live music EVERY night. And the musicians are always lively and fun. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys an Irish atmosphere. more

Friendly 7/21/2011

The waiter was friendly, and the food we had was delicious. I highly reccommend the Monte Cristo sandwich!! more

This place is great 7/19/2011

I think this place is great! It's definitely a pub, and I love the ambience. The food surprised me for sure--I thought it was going to be mediocre at best but it was actually very very good. If you're around Union Station and not really sure where to go, skip the tourist traps at Union and go to the Dubliner! more

The service was great 7/14/2011

The decor has that old Irish pub feel (which, if it didn't, I'd be disappointed since that's what it's SUPPOSED to be). The service was great, and the meals we had were excellent. My Guiness Burger was frickin' awesome! I think it might've been one of the best meals I've had in a while. The next day, we ordered the Irish breakfasts - the full breakfast and the omelette and both were delicious. I thought the omelette was unique with the herbed sour cream as that's not something I've had before. more

The place was hopping 7/12/2011

There's traditional Irish music and the typical Irish fare on the menu. I went with fish & chips, which was pretty good. The place was hopping, but we got our orders in a fair amount of time. more

Great atmosphere 7/8/2011

Had drinks and appetizers with a bunch of coworkers. Great atmosphere and plenty of room. more

Food came out quickly 6/30/2011

Decent Irish pub. Came here for lunch after a 4+ hr trip on Bolt Bus. Food came out quickly and we had decent service. Lots of outdoor seating, so great for summer days. Thumbs up more

The acoustic music at night is infectious 6/21/2011

This is the place for really good, traditional food and spirits. Everyone who works there has an honest brogue and the acoustic music at night is infectious. more

I love the Irish atmosphere 6/10/2011

Free wifi here. My iPhone appreciates this. more

My very favorite Irish Pub 6/6/2011

and every visit to Wasington includes at least one evening at The Dubliner. My last visit included a Monte Cristo sandwich for a light dinner which was just perfect for the evening followd by Guinness and a few hours of Irish Pub singing. more

Outstanding food! 6/3/2011

Hubby & I had dinner at Dubliner and the food was really good. It also had a neighborhood feel even though its in downtown DC. We were there on Friday night and had to wait for a table but the food was so good it was worth it. more

I shall return! 5/27/2011

The location is great, across the street from Union Station, basically and just a few blocks from the US Capitol. I like the chicken pot pie. more

I loved it! 5/26/2011

The portions were very generous and the service was efficient. If you have a couple of hours to kill before catching your ride at Union Station (as we did), happen to be staying in a nearby hotel (as we did) or need a quick stop for sustenance before continuing on your way (as we did), pop into The Dubliner for an Auld Irish Blessing to set you on you way. more

Incredible Irish-American Pub! 5/20/2011

Cool Irish-American Pub. We went during our DC trip on the advice of one of my wife's friends who used to work there. Great Irish beers, knowledgeable and friendly service and good food. My wife loved her burger marinated in Guinness and I had a great catfish and fries special. more

Great food 5/16/2011
