I really like Duane Reade drugstores. They are all over New York City and if I had to guess, I'd say they are the store that has the most branches in NYC, more than Starbucks or McDonalds. The prices are very good as is the selection. If I need toiletry items, I usually end up going to Duane Reade. I also use them for the pharmacy. The service is sometimes slow, but there are so many around that I can usualyl find one near where I am. Be sure to check the hours because each store keeps different ones, some are open 24 hours a day while others close at 6:00pm.
