Whatever you do don't let these incompetent morons work on your vehicle. I took a perfectly good running car to get the horn fixed and have it inspected. BIG MISTAKE! While I was gone they somehow fried some ground pins in my engine computer (PCM) and then called me and said that it had some trouble codes and that the check engine light was on. I went over there to find that it now had trouble codes for the EGR valve and the IAT sensor..which both turned out to be false codes. On top of that it disabled the gas gauge (fried ground pin for fuel level sender in PCM) and also would not run the emissions monitors to show a "ready "status for all of the different monitors and thus could not be inspected with everything now showing a "not ready" status in the PCM. It also disabled a perfectly functional A/C system. I believe some imbecile over there had my battery disconnected and then connected it with the key in the 'on' position which fried the PCM and they just pretended like it never happened and made out like I brought it in that way...pffft. I had to limp to another shop and have a new engine computer flashed and everything then worked just like it did before they let some moron fry my PCM. These wanna-be mechanics unfortunately cost me lots of money to have my car repaired. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place and take your car somewhere else. They WILL rip you off and ruin your vehicle and they couldn't care less. The saddest thing about all of this is that I was depending on this car to get my now deceased father to his cancer treatments and ended up having to find another way to get him there because I wasn't able to fix the car until after he had passed. Sometimes I seriously wonder how these low-life scumbags sleep at night. more

Excellent Service! 8/21/2011

I just want to say that the guys at Drivers did an absolutely outstanding job! Mike the manager went out of his way to make sure that I was taken care of and that I had a ride back to my apartment while my car was being fixed, even though I live off of Sawdust road. These guys are honest and do great work. I wouldn't go anywhere else. more

Mike Thanks for quickly taking care of my car inspection. I wish Craig was there so I could have spoken with him on the ongoing issues with my air conditioner. He's been working with me and we were holding off on the major repair for as long as I could. I'll try to catch him at another time. more

I always get great service here they even go above and beyond doing things that I need but did not request like put my torn front bumper together. This last time in particular I had some issues with financing the repairs needed but they work with what I could afford and got the job done. I forget the name of the manager at this store but he use to be in Conroe store but just wanted to say he's great. more

Annual inspection 7/19/2011

I recently had my car inspected and brought along my new state registration sticker, new license plates and a replacement bulb for one of my taillights that went out. The guys at Driver's Auto on Louetta Rd in Spring TX not only took care of the inspection they also installed the new reg. sticker, plates and bulb without charging any additional fee over the inspection. I know i'm a repeat customer but this was not expected and certainly appreciated. Thanks, Robert W. (Spring, TX) more

Driver's is all about customer service. If they did not fix it right the first time, they get you back in quickly to solve the problem. I feel like they are truely trying help in any way they can. I feel like a person not a number. more

OIL CHANGE 7/5/2011

WE HAVE LONG TERM CUSTOMERS THE ONLY THING THE MECHANIC TOLD MY WIFE HE HAD TO PUT TWO ADDTIONAL QUARTS FOR THE OIL CHANGE. WHY WOULD WE NEED MOR OIL ON THIS OIL CHANGE AS APPOSED TO ANY OTHER TIME? DID NOT MAKE SINCE TO ME. more

Not the best experience that I have had. The general manager did not tell us that the financing was a credit card. We thought that it was in house credit. We did not want a credit card but it was too late. every thing was good though. more

oil change mistake on mechanic led to 6 hours without vehicle 6/12/2011

7:30 am oil change appointment led to needing my serpentine belt changed. That wasn't the problem. The problem is that my vehicle 2007 prius wouldn't start. It took over 6 hours to figure out they put too much oil in it and activated some computer shut down. Praise goes to the mechanic who figured out how to manually reset the Prius and the lead mechanic to know that they caused the mistake. The mechanic did apologize for his lack of knowledge on the Prius. I have always had my oil changed done at Spring Car Care, who now are known as Driver's Auto. I have never had any problems before they changed names. Management did not apologize and didn't offer any compensation (ie:free oil change, $50 off). I picked up my car at 5:15pm. I'm left with the feeling that I know the mechanics will try hard to correct mistakes but should my car be used as a free guinea pig for Driver's Auto? more
