Dreamland Comics

I recently had a very poor experience with Dreamland Comics. I ordered two items that were listed in stock from their online store for a gift. The occasion was 16 days away so there would be plenty of time for processing and shipping. After a week, I still had not received an email about shipping. I called and I was told the items were in stock, they did not know why they weren’t shipped, and they would get back to me. I heard nothing back. After two days, I received an email saying one of the items was not in stock and it would be shipped later. This was not too much of a problem, because the item that I really wanted was still in stock. After two more days, I still had not received a shipping email about the first item. I called and was told they would ship it that day and that it would arrive by the date I needed, which was in 4 days. However, the package did not arrive in time. Additionally, the other order was cancelled and my money refunded. To sum up my transaction: I only received half of the items I ordered and the shipment was late. I do not know how the store is in person, but I will not be ordering online from them again. more

Dreamland Comics used to have two locations, but they closed down one of the stores and then expanded the one on Schaumburg road, making their selection even bigger. They have all the comic books that you could want, and a ton of collectible cards as well. They also have action figures and bustups of things such as Star Wars. Dreamland comics is worth a trip if you're in the Schaumburg area. more
