One of the nicest and newer pools run by the city of Boston. Renovated 6-8 years ago, it has small but clean changing and restrooms. It is a stand-alone pool facility and is set back from busy Washington Street. (Driving by the first time, it is easy to miss) It is not part of a school complex. In warm weather, adjacent to it is a well cared for children's play structure; and below the hill is an outdoor running track. All are well maintained and a pleasure to use. The pool charges a very modest fee. Check for 'open' swim hours; or 'adult lap' hours so that you won't be disappointed and find the pool open ~ but not available.
Pros: Inexpensive; Clean; Good Staff
Cons: Out-of-the-Way; difficult to get to except by auto
