Drai's IS VEGAS 5/30/2005

I've been to Vegas numerous times. The only way I wouldn't make it to Drai's is if I was behind bars. Even if the cover were $100, I would still go. This is the coolest place in Vegas and it always meets my expectations. Pros: HOT, Pretty People, Swanky Cons: Located only in Vegas more

Great Late Night Club 5/9/2005

After meeting a local Vegas girl we went to Drais for some late night clubbing. I never would have imaged such a trendy hangout and a $30 cover in one of the older hotels. It was jam packed with people. The drink prices were typical of the major strip hotel clubs but not much more than what I pay in Atlanta. The line was only a few minutes long (6 a.m.?) and the wait for the drinks wasn't long either. We stayed until they closed down which was somewhere around 9 a.m. more

What a surprise 10/25/2004

We didnt expect much as we entered the rather run down Barbary Coast Casino, but a knowledgeable local give Drais a high level recommendation so we entered the elevator descending to a wonderfully decorated intimate dining experience. The service was very friendly and helpful without being overbearing and the food was an incredible taste surprise. Yes, its expensive, but the value is on par with the excellence. The ambiance screams of sensual delights and we got them from both the visuals or the place, and the taste delights. Pros: decor, food, service more

Thank You Vegas For Drai's 4/6/2004

Drai's has been and still is the best CLUB in Vegas! I have been going there for years and it has never changed. The people and atmosphere are still the best I have ever seen! There are great looking people there and top notch house music to dance to! I go to Vegas to go to Drai's! Pros: Good Looking People, Great Music, Awesome Atmosphere Cons: , Rude Bartenders, Long Line more

My favorite club in the whole wide world 1/21/2004

Growing up in miami and having been to the best clubs on south beach, in NYC, LA, Ibiza and all over Spain, I have to say Drai's after hours is one of my favorite clubs of all time! I don't know if it was the people, the music, the ambience or the intense party favors, but whatever it was (all mixed into one) made for a fabulously crazy night! I didn't leave Drai's until around 9am and I could have stayed later. If you are looking for the best after hours club possible, this is the place to be! Crazy partiers, eclectic crowd, friendly atmosphere....intense! Pros: ample seating, lots of VIP, gorgeous people Cons: crowded door more

Late night fun 3/18/2003

This is definetly an after hours place. We were there from 1:30 until 9 (I think-we were a little overserved). Great place. Great music, freindly bartenders, and even the bouncers. The drinks are pricey, even water $7/bottle-ouch! But overall the place is great! I would definately check it out! more

Elegance in every way 2/7/2003

I've dined at Drai's on 4 seperate occasions over the past 3 years. In every instance, I found the dining experience to be exceptional. The lounge is intimate and provides a level of warmth and coziness for the "romantic" evening. The menu is french gourmet, but with an awesome array of variety and flair seldom found in a restaurant of this type. The servers are professional in every way providing just the right amount of attentiveness for their patrons. Frankly, I'm astounded by the level of consistency they've been able to maintain over many years. This restaurant is truely a gem! It is a special place in a town with many restaurants. Few can compare with the extraordinary experience offered at Drai's. more

After-hours at it's finest! 8/8/2002

Dreamy bartenders, non-pretentious cocktail waitress', friendly management, and the safest after-hours place to dance! Saturday nights belong to Drai's! more

Truly Unique 8/5/2002

Drai's is famous for its late night panache and hip clientele, but we go there early (6-8 pm) just for dinner. Improbably concealed in Barbary Coast's basement is this smooth oasis of calm. Efficient, never condescending, service brings you a fairly traditional menu with little twists of seasonings and preparation which make the food special. Always terrific, always economical for fine dining in Las Vegas, Drai's decor, ambience and consistent excellence make it special and truly unique. Go! Pros: Never crowded early, Great food&service, Unique decor Cons: No parking more

The reason i'm coming back! 7/2/2002

Drais is the perfect example of what New York is missing! A classy lounge with great music, and dancing! Among the top reasons I have to see Vegas every year is Drais. more

Editorial
  • In Short
This classy eatery pays homage to the glory days of Tinseltown--think art deco Hollywood done with postmodern flair. The decor is intentionally dated, straight from an ultra-glamorous 1930s movie. The menu features bright compositions like fresh tomato, basil and goat cheese tart and organic carrot and leek soup. Entrees include seared Maine salmon, grilled free-range chicken or seven-hour leg of lamb stewed in red wine. There's a hot late-night scene here after the restaurant closes.
