Great people and great beer 1/27/2003

I've been to the Kinvara at all different times of the week and I've always had a great time. The staff is wonderful and there are always plenty of places to sit and talk. Most any night of the week will find you with lots of nice Irish guys drinking the night away with all their buddies. But theres also the regular 21+ crowd of recent grads and other locals with a taste for good Guinness. Pros: Irish Guys, Good beer selection, Great staff more

Kinvara is ok, drafts on Thursdays, but it's really worth the trip if the outdoor patio is open and the weather is nice Pros: outdoor patio more

Wed./Thurs. Night Madhouse 8/5/2002

This place can be a lowkey Irish pub, or it can be a jam-packed college dance bar. Just make sure you know what you get yourself into before you are going. Wednesday and Thursday nights during the school year are always packed (mostly BC students), but during the summer and other nights of the week, the place is transformed into a nice Irish pub. The college influence keeps the prices down. Pros: price, fun more
