I came in for facial fat grafting. My knowledge about the procedure consisted from online search and meetings with a couple other doctors. What I learned from those was what I didn't want to happen to me: 1. Per other doctors: supposedly about 60 to 80% of transferred fat cells will die in about 2-3 months, they suggested extra filling and repeating the procedure up to 2 times...I was already picturing my face looking like some cartoon character with huge lips and fat cheeks. Well, it's been almost 8 moths now, and I love how my face looks...2. I also was worrying about uneven and un-proportional bumpy skin surface: some reviews from online sources described real horror stories about fat lumps that never gone smooth... Imagine how freaked out I felt at my first meeting with Dr. Troell?.. He is the true professional: not only he made me feel comfortable to go ahead with the procedure, but the results were exceptional: no extra filling was needed, I don't have lumps, but smooth and natural look. I have had a couple procedures by Dr. Troell and each one has been very satisfactory to fantastic. His staff is professional and Rose is very helpful and compassionate. Dr. Troell did my eyelids, which came out fantastic! I had the dot laser, which was very good. I had lipo before my planned tummy tuck. The lipo was great on it's own, but I followed it with the tummy tuck. Even being diabetic, I had no major complications and the result is a dramatically improved body image, and I'm over 60! It's never too late to improve yourself. Dr. Troell's care and follow up are phenomenal; his manner is genuine; his knowledge and explanation of the procedure(s) is thorough. I would recommend him to anyone. I've read reviews where a patient said it was very painful. REALLY? He performs major surgery on your body. Yes, the procedures can be uncomfortable, and sometimes downright hurt, but some procedures ARE surgery. I don't believe you'll find a better, more compassionate and knowledgeable surgeon to whom you can trust your face and body anywhere. more

After discussing my treatment plan I felt very confident with my decision to move forward with Dr. Troell. The follow up care he and Rose provided really took it to the next step. Pleased With Result 4/5/2012

Dr Troell is very personable, easy to communicate with, and a leading provider in his field. I expect excellence and I get it. I had an immediate connection with Dr Troell and my trust in him was instilled at our first meeting. He is competent, more than capable, and I feel secure that my treatment is the best I can get. Worst Plastic Surgeon Ever 8/24/2011

If there was a way to rate no stars I would. This Dr. is so unethical. He did liposuction on me and a laser to my face. I am lumpy everywhere and my skin is terrible. He has his office staff assist him in surgery-they have NO medical training whatsoever and one can not even speak English. I have reported him to the board. When I asked him what I could do he said he would redo it for a price. I would NEVER let him or his untrained STAFF members touch me ever again. STAY AWAY from this guy. He talks a good game but his follow through is terrible. more

Bad Experience with Dr.Troell 7/5/2011

Please learn from my very painful and costly experience with Dr.Troell and DO NOT consider him for your plastic surgeon. Although he is very educated, overall i found him to be uncaring, unprofessional and blatantly disrespectful once he got my money. He did marginal work and then wanted to charge me full price again to "correct" it. Thank god i found another doctor in the area to fix his work. more

Excellencent Results 4/18/2011

I had liposuction on my inner and outer thigh, as well as fat transfer to my face. I had been wanting to do the liposuction for a while, and after seeing the results of Dr. Troell's work, I really wish I hadn't waited so long! In addition, it was Dr. Troell's recommendation to do the fat transfer to my face as opposed to using fillers, which I had been doing for the past few years, which are both temporary and costly. This procedure has eliminated my need for using fillers from now on, and truth be told the results are better! I look great and couldn't be happier. more

Dr.Troell and his friendly staff are the best in town! I recommend him to all of my friends and family. I had a very large nose that made me look and feel a lot older than I actually was. Dr. Troell has beautifully reconstructed my nose. Now I love the way my facial features look soft , young and natural. Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. No wait time for appointment. more
