Dr Weiner's Pet Care Center

I really like the service of this veterinary. Just as a side note, they spare no expense so make sure that you have a big budget. However, on the flip side of that previous comment, your pet will get the utmost care here. They are so amazingly thorough. more

Weiner has been vet to my dogs and cat for over 20 years, and they keep getting better. Dr. Weiner diagnosed problems that the specialists at Angell missed. I briefly switched vets when I mistakenly thought he was trying to run up testing fees. I quickly realized the difference in competence and care from the other highly recommended vet. more

My 3 cats have seen Dr.Weiner at his Cambridge location (Massachusetts Ave., between Harvard and Porter Sq), and one of them needed dental surgery, which was performed at the Dr's Huntington Ave. office in Boston. I'm happy to say Dr.Weiner isn't a "small talk" kind of veterinarian, his focus is always on my cats and their health, which I like. He isn't trying to "treat" me, so I do not not feel like a "customer," I instead feel like my cats' caregiver who can help the doctor understand my cats' health and personalities. One of my cats recently had a serious infection and Dr.Weiner's staff was able to fit us in immediately. He explained the medicines, bloodwork, and the procedures that were necessary to treat my cat, and so on. My cat had her surgery and during her post-op check-up she got a clean bill of health. Both offices are clean and well maintained. His staff is very patient and pleasant. They really seem to enjoy treating animals. more

I was overall pleased with the service I received at Dr. Weiner's Pet Care Center. I was early for my appointment, and brought in promptly. I was in and out within 15 minutes. I like this vet for the central location, right on Huntington Avenue in the South End/Back Bay/Fenway area. more
