A Great Place for Soft Drink History 3/17/2006

The Dr. Pepper Museum is a very interesting place. Full of Dr. Pepper and soft drink history. My husband especially enjoyed the extensive bottle collection along with other soft drink and vending memorabilia. Wonderful source for Waco and Central Texas history. Be sure to get a refreshment for the soda fountain. Delish!! more

The Dr Pepper Museum is a fun place to visit with your family. My children enjoyed looking around the museum and they especially enjoyed getting a Dr Pepper from the old fashioned soda fountain. It is an interesting and fun museum I enjoyed finding out the history of how Dr Pepper came about. more

Are you a Pepper 8/17/2005

I became a Pepper after visiting the Dr. Pepper Museum in downtown waco. Take a interesting look back into the history of Dr.Pepper. Its a in dept and exciting look into the way Dr.Pepper was developed. There are many fun and enjoyful activities for the kids. There is a life size "robot" of the founder of this popular soda who gives you the information and explanation of how the soda came into existence. Make sure to stop by the gift shop to pick up novelty items such as the "I am Pepper" shirt or enjoy a nice cold refreshing float. A must see for anyone who is a big drinker of this soda. Its open everyday of the week and prices start at $5 for adults. more

Dr Pepper Museum 8/6/2005

I have been here several times throughout my years here in Texas. The Museum is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places and is a nonprofit organization. It has three floors of exhibits. The building that it is in was the actual headquarters until 1924. They have the Beverage World Soft Drink Hall of Fame and the Free Enterprise Institute. The best thing about it is it has an actual operating old fashioned soda fountain. This is a wonderful place to go to learn about how Dr Pepper was made and just to see the different items that Dr. Pepper use to be to what Dr Pepper is now. I love this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone. more
