I visited Dr. Marlowe 2x and spent over $550 on visits and tests to receive an ""I don't know"" from Dr. Marlowe. The only thing I left with was a breakfast recipe that I could have looked up on the FoodNetwork site for free. Dr. Marlowe spoke to me on a 3rd grade level, provided NO help with my weight loss and only suggested I take weight loss pills. \r

On my initial visit I specifically told Dr. Marlowe that I did not want to take weight loss pills because I wasn't that over weight (5'4"" - 130lbs - 28 years old) and I have had family member with severe heart and stomach issues. I told him I was interested in a HEALTHY, natural weight loss solution (to lose about 10 pounds that I couldn't seem to shed at the gym) and he told me he could help. With this out on the table, I expected him to determine specifics about ""my body"" to determine how my metabolism works with various types of food, foods I should and should not eat (other than the obvious), specific types I food I should eat throughout the day to help stay/feel full, types of food I should eat to stimulate my metabolism, etc. instead, I received ""you should take these pills..."". The image he put in my mind was that ""I'm hopeless and the only way I'm going to lose weight is by popping pills"" and I KNOW this is not true. Dr. Marlowe also mentioned that I cut my diet down to 800 calories a day (700 is starvation). Being a very active, 28 year old female this CAN'T be healthy and what about platequing...?\r

If you want to take diet pills and pay A LOT for them, go see Dr. Marlowe, if you want a healthy alternative to weight loss, see a dietitian and get a plan that is created for YOU. Dr. Marlowe will give you a some recipes but they are all cookie-cutter recipies, and as any girl knows, all female bodies are not the same so we can't all benefit from the same recipes!\r

Don't waste your money on Dr. Marlowe. Good luck!
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Waste of money, no healthy means of weight loss (only pills), Dr. Marlowe speaks to you on a 3rd grade level.
