I had been wearing glasses/contacts for 16 years and was considered legally blind. I absolutely I hated having to wear glasses and contacts. I took advantage of the deal that they had going last month and I was a little worried because the deal was really good so I wondered if there would be an issue. It has been 1 month now and I have 20-15 vision and am 100 percent healthy. I highly recommend Dr Harvey Carter and the staff at Carter Eye Center. more

I recently had laser eye surgery at the Carter Eye Center with Dr Harvey Carter. I am very pleased with the results and the decision that I made to go there. The doctor had come very highly recommended by a friend of mine who had gotten vision correction there many years ago and is still seeing perfect. My husband and I decided to do the surgery on the same day and our daughter volunteered to drive us home after the surgery. We were both pleased with the way that the staff and the doctor handled us and procedure. My daughter also thought that everyone there was very polite. You could tell that the staff really like their jobs but it was also as if they were excited to be changing people's lives. It really was a great experience and one that we are very thankful for. If you want to see Dr. Harvey Carter, bring your lunch and a pillow. The man is downright rude. He kept everyone waiting while he talked on his phone about investments. His staff acted liked they were terrified of him. I waited for 2 1/2 hours and left without being seen. Cons: were terrified of him I waited for 2 1/2 hours more

Dr. Harney has been my doctor since Autumn, 1994 as I have Multiple Sclerosis and also Fibromyalgia. I hold him in the highest regard as a physician. He has always discussed with me various options for treatment but then left the choice to me. I like that. After all - I'm the one living in this body, & it's ultimately up to me to care for it. He has always treated me with friendly respect. He stays on top of the latest research, is well-read, & always up-to-date on the latest info - whether that be encouraging findings or bad side-effects. Pros: He's a GREAT neurologist - very personable & kind! Cons: One of his staff can be very unpleasant to deal with; Dr. says she is very efficient & getting better. more
