The worst doctor I have been to. I agree with others who said that she is rushed and doesn't allow for questions. After waiting 40 minutes in the exam room, she spoke to me for two minutes, and after I had asked one question, stood up and walked out of the room to the reception area. Once there, she was fiddling with the printer, while answering my questions. Unfortunately for me, I'm not comfortable asking medical questions in front of a waitingroom of people.
After this visit, I needed to get a second round of blood tests (Dr. V forgot to include several necessary tests in my first round). After waiting three weeks, I called for my results-though I was told by Quest, who does the bloodwork, that results would be back in 3-4 days. I was told by an impatient receptionist that the Dr. was on vacation and she would "look around to see if she could find the tests results". After more than a month had passed since the date of the tests, I called back. Again, the receptionist told me she would look around and call me back. This time, I did get a call, only to have them tell me that the Dr. had already told me results--still no word on what they were. I had to call back, to have the receptionist insist that I had already received my results because there was a "note" on the results that said that I had. The results I was waiting on were a simple "Yes you have this disease" or a "It was negative"--something I would surely remember if I had been told. I have never experienced something like this- a receptionist supposedly there to help patients, rudely insisting I had already been told whether or not I had disease. This review may seem petty, but I truly cannot get over the general disorganization and lack of courtesy I experienced here. I have always gotten along with my doctors, and never felt inspired to write any sort of review. My experience with Dr. V. was so out of the ordinary, I felt I had to share it. Finding a doctor is hard, but I wouldn't bother with Brookline Family Health
