Dr Anthony Henegar

FYI do your research on this dentist! He had very bad rating then all sudden his rating and reviews starting going up beggining of 2010. It seems he went thru a thrd party that helps business "boost" up their ratings. Just look at history of his reviews. 2009 had very negative ones with almost every customer having the same issues and all of a sudden his 2010 shoots up, but look closely and see his reviews are posted by name of "REVIEW". Basically he had to pay for good reviews haha. You can google "reviewboost" and it explains this procedure that a lot of business's are going to change their ratings. Dr henegar please change your office procedure if you want patients instead of trying to buy them :) more

I had a tooth that had broken and I went to see Dr. Henegar. He gave me options so I could decide what was best for me. I felt he truly cares about his patients. He and all of his staff were extremely kind and gentle. I also feel their prices are reasonable. Dr. Henegar not only can perform general dentist procedures but also oral surgery procedrues as well. more

I have been very pleased with all aspects of Dr. Henegar's office for my two daughter's dental needs. The office is very modern and clean with TV's above each chair. Every time I have gone, I have been able to see the dentist within minutes of my scheduled appointment time. The office starts taking appointments at 7:00, so it is very convenient. Desk staff very efficient and nice. Dental assistants are very kind to my daughters and allow them to pick prizes out of a box at the end of their appointment. I have dental insurance, and the co pay amounts are very reasonable (unlike 6 Day Dental which sees no problem in presenting a $1,200 bill to fill 4 cavities, one of which was questionable!!). Although the office is large, I like that Dr. Henegar actually does the work himself, rather than some places which only have dentist's fresh out of dental school. If you are flexible on times, getting an appointment is no problem at all. Dr. Henegar also accepts most dental insurance. So, in short, I can't think of a reason not to choose Dr. Henegar. more

I was referred to Dr Henegar when my dentist could not see my daughter for a few days when she fell and busted her front tooth at school. My daughter is 11 yrs old and was very nervous about visiting a new Dr. Dr Henegar was incredibly gentle and kind to my daughter. So gently that she didn't even feel the shot he gave her. Long story short, my daughter needed to have some bonding placed on her chipped tooth. Dr Henegar took great care and time making sure that my daughters tooth matched her real one. His asst. was awesome. Made my daughter feel really comfortable. I'm sorry we had to meet Dr Henegar and his staff under these circumstances but will gladly go back for a cleaning and any further dental work me and my family needs. I went here for the first time last Thursday. I came here by a referral from my wife who has been coming here for at least a year now. I came from a dentist in Arlington and man what a difference. The office is in the Valley Ranch area which means it is really nice inside. There are small flat screen TVs in every room along with one in the waiting room. All the people are crazy nice even at 7am on a Thursday. I came back a few days later to get 2 teeth pulled and it was painless, well until the numbness wore off. I met Anthony Henegar a few times and he seems like a guy you would see at a local bar watching a game on TV. Not that I would want to see my dentist at a bar, but he is really cool. He speaks to you like a friend and not like someone who he has never seen before. I will be coming here from now on and I would recommend anyone to this office if you live in the area or not. I recently had my first appointment at Dr. Henegar's office. Everyone knows that the first appointment is pretty much with the hygienist only. Which in this case is true. The young lady who did my x-rays, cleaning, etc. was excellent. Very personable, didn't cause a lot of pain, and answered my questions. However, when the Dr. arrived at the end, he didn't introduce himself, poked around for cavities for a couple seconds, diagnosed me and was gone. I'm sure he's a nice enough guy, but I didn't get to see it. Overall, the experience was good enough. I would have liked a little more personal time with the Dr. however it wasn't enough to keep me from going back. more

I go to this dentist. I highly recommend anyone going to Dr Anthony Henegar, if you are looking for a great dentist. He does a great job. He is a nice man. And they don't try to charge you for things you don't need. They do a great job with check ups. This is a great location for anyone who works in Las Colinas. -M R. more

Have to say I love Dr. H and all of his staff. The new office and equipment are state of the art and the Las Colinas location is very convenient. He is the only dentist my daughter has voluntarily let near her teeth which says a lot since she has a mouthful of dental work. -DAWN G. more

Dr Henegar twice referred me for services that a specialist said were not needed. His hygenists are mindless robots who are not able to answer questions. They simply do what they are told without an understanding of why. The office staff has made nine major mistakes (and counting). My plan was to give them a year (moved here recently), but left after 6 months because they are the worst providers I have ever seen. more

I really like Dr Henegar and all the people that work with him. My dental hygenist is Valerie and my kids also go to her. It's really nice because as Dr. Henegar and his staff have expanded their attitudes towards their patience have remained the same. It's very much a family atmosphere. When I go there my kids feel very secure with getting their teeth cleaned. Dr. Henegar and Valerie really do try their best to make it fun and let them know how important it is to brust and how to brush correctly. I'd recommend his office for both adults and kids. more

You should go to him if you are looking for a great dentist. He does a nice job. He is a nice man and will not try to charge you for things you don't need. They do a great job with check ups. I was referred to Dr. Henegar several years ago. I’ve been a patient for about 7 years. He has moved offices a couple of times since I’ve been with him because his practice keeps growing. They just moved into a brand new office that is very nice. Everything is high-tech and up to date. They have the Dish Network in each room and will let you watch whatever you want. Everyone is really nice, and you will see the same hygienist each time. I actually don’t dread going to the dentist anymore. more

I have been seeing Dr Henegar for several years now. He and his entire staff are very friendly, and they really make you feel comfortable. They recently moved into new offices, and the new building is very spacious, with flat panel tv screens in every room. They have the latest dental technology. I highly recommend Dr Henegar. more
