The Down Under Pub is a block down from the usual Duke scene of the Sati's, James Joyce, and the Federal, so I think it gets a little bit more of a local crowd. It's smokey like the others and lacks outdoor space. It does have a good selection of beers (including Abita, which really delights some deep southerners). I've never eaten here so I can't comment on the food. There's a pool table in the back, but it's usually so crowded back there I don't try to play.
Overall, this is a solid place to come with friends, especially if the other Bright Leaf places are over-crowded.
