It was Christmas night a Saturday, and my dog, my Baby girl Leelu was not well, she had been unwell for a long time and it was the very end...I couldn't ask her to wait till Monda...

Worst

Maybe I am over reacting, but I took my dog here and they would not let me go ""in the back"" with her at all, or observe any of the care they provided. In fact, when I requested ...

Do NOT take your pet here 4/25/2011

If you have ever sat in front of a salesman and thought to yourself ""this guy is screwing me bigtime"", then you know how I felt talking to the vet when he came out to talk to us about our pet. I was in sales for a long time and I can tell when I'm being sold. \r \r My story is pretty much the same as everyone else who has been screwed over by Dove Lewis and posted about it. \r \r Our dog was acting very strange then lethargic so we brought him to DL and everyone was very nice and polite. When the vet finally brought us back to talk with us about our dog, he basically gave us 3 carefully scripted options:\r \r 1) Run a full battery of tests\r 2) Run 1-2 tests and go from there\r 3) Euthanize the dog if it comes to that\r \r Wait a second... How did we go from talking about possible causes of a 7 year old, otherwise perfectly healthy, dog being lethargic to killing him???\r \r I'll tell you why, because that's all part of their sales pitch. Basically they make you feel as though you have only 2 choices: pay the $1000's of dollars or your pet dies.\r \r I could go on and on about everything between now and then but long story short, about $3000 dollars later, we are still at the same point as we were when we brought him in. They are not quite sure what is wrong and they want to run more tests.\r \r Read all the other posts on yelp or citysearch saying the same thing. All the 5 star ratings say the same thing too, ""they are expensive but they helped my beloved pet"". That's wonderful but save yourself the $2000-$3000 dollars and take your pet to Tualatin or someplace else and get better or at least the same level of care without the (well ochestrated, very convincing) used car sales pitch. more

Rude, Rude, Rude- just plain rude! 3/30/2011

I spoke to them two times on the phone and each time it was a different person, and each time the were short, kurt, and just downright rude and unpleasant. I will go to the Tualatin Emergency instead. more

All about the money now 3/11/2011

I'm handicapped and so is my husband. We took our dog there and when I did not fill out forms fast enough, I was admonished by the front desk lady. I told her I was going as fast as I could and she was being impatient. Right in front of everyone, she told me that this was emergency room and I could go somewhere else basically if I didn't like it. She was pretty full of herself and I could see the other staff member trying not to make eye contact with me. I think she felt badly. The interesting thing is that the only thing I had not yet filled out and signed was the credit card authorization. As we were leaving without being seen, I said to this woman that Dove Lewis conducts surveys on patient satisfaction especially if clients leave without service. And, she actually laughed and said ""oh, they'll never hear about this one 'cause I'l tell 'em what happened."" That's an employee who is pretty secure in turning clients away unless they show me the money and fast!!!! All I can say is shame on you, Dove Lewis. more

A Very Sad Christmas 12/31/2010

It was Christmas night a Saturday, and my dog, my Baby girl Leelu was not well, she had been unwell for a long time and it was the very end...I couldn't ask her to wait till Monday. She was in so much pain. I called so many places and every place that was normally open on Saturday was now closed for the holiday. I can't blame people for wanting to spend the holiday with there families..I was spending it with mine but she was in a lot of pain and ready to let go of this world. All I can say is I am still weak with pain from my loss but so grateful that I didn't listen to the poor reviews of Dove Lewis...they were so kind so understanding so patient...I was a wreck and I was not an easy person to be around let alone have to converse with but they all of them were more than understanding...I don't know if they had felt the same pain I was feeling but they empathized so well I took it for sympathy..They knew, and they made the experience as easy as possible. Dr. Cruz....you may never see this, but we will never forget you and can not tell you the relief your understanding and compassion was.f at Dove Lewis working To ALL of the staff working Christmas Night and the early hours after, Thank you from the deepest of my heart Thank you. more

Vet at DoveLewis (Dr. Josh Cruz, DVM) 10/1/2010

I met with Josh Cruz, DVM about my cat Mittens. He took such good care of him and I could tell that he absolutely loves animals. I've read a lot of reviews on here and have only good things to say about this veterinary clinic (I've been here about 5 times). Any emergency vet clinic is going to be expensive because of the specialty of the doctors and the expense of the equipment. more

3 hours in an empty waiting room and be treated like crap! 9/2/2010

My wife and I drove from Beaverton to take our 4 month old pure bred African Savannah cat to Dove Lewis after she had been stepped on and was urinating blood. After about 15 minutes of waiting someone came out to look at our cat. They said that she was looking stable but that it was a serious injury and we would be seen by the doctor soon. We waited for nearly 3 hours and had asked several times what the wait time would be, a girl named Kira at the front desk was incredibly rude and cold to my wife for no reason. We ended up leaving Dove Lewis and driving to the Emergency Animal Hospital in Tualatin and they were great. There were other people in the waiting room and it still took less than an hour to get a full examination including ex-rays and a diagnosis. Dove Lewis might look nice and I have no problem paying a premium for that but after this horrible experience we will never go there again. If you want to wait hours in a freezing cold room and be talked to rudely by a snotty little brat, then go to Dove Lewis. more

DoveLewis ER & ICU Animal Hospital 7/13/2010

I took my nearly 1 yr old pup to Dove Lewis for a partial blockage on Sat night. She was not in crisis but it was obvious to me that she had a recent blockage & I wanted her on IV fluids until I could get her to my personal vet. I didn't qualify for financial aid, if they even really have such a thing, & I was told if my pup had a crisis during the night & I weren't able to put down a $3,000 deposit in cash or on a credit card, they would euthanize my dog ""in a very humane way"". I was shocked. She was a healthy dog other than the partial blockage. Luckily my pup made it until early Mon morning when I picked her up & rushed her to my vet. Dove Lewis took one x-ray & kept her on IV fluids from around 8pm Sat night until 8am Mon morning without a crisis. No other treatment was provided & my bill was over $1,000. My vet took her in around 9 am & took an x-ray every 2 hrs until shortly after noon when he performed a difficult surgery to removed the small towel she swollowed. To be safe he kept her until Friday afternoon, coming in the evening to check on her. Several days later he removed her stitches & my bill was just over $900 & I didn't get the hard sell job to run more tests. When I sent Dove Lewis an e-mail asking why they advertise that they treat animals for free to save their life, they said they didn't have any more money for charity.\r \r A vet tech that used to work for my vet had also worked for Dove Lewis. According to this tech, Dove Lewis spent a small fortune on a new state-of-the-art machine & discussed openly amongst the staff that they need to use it any chance they get so they can bill the $2,000+ charge per test to help pay for the machine. This is not the old Dove Lewis that cared about the lives of animals, although they would like you to think so. This is a new corporation that cares about their bottom line at the expense of the animals AND the owners' pocketbooks. I have since used the emergency clinic in Tualatin & am very happy with the treatment & the cost. My vet has since taken Dove Lewis' number off his answer machine & replaced it with the Tualatin emergency clinic. Pros: None Cons: They would rather kill a dog than treat it for free more

Go to Canby Vet Clinic Instead 5/12/2010

They nickeled and dimed me for every single small thing possible, and what was worse is that they even charged me for a whole bunch of treatments my cat never even received. I had to go through the itemized bills with them many times to remove a lot of false charges. They even charged for using kleenex. Go to Canby Vet Clinic in Tualatin instead for after hours emergency care - they're open from 6pm to 8am weekdays and 24 hours during the weekend. They're much more honest and kinder folks there. Dove Lewis has very poor customer service, and the vet was not good either. After charging me to high heavens, they just euthanized my pet in the end and refused to negotiate charges that i felt were not justified, especially given that my cat died in the end. Too expensive. Pros: Nothing Cons: Dishonest, Expensive and Useless more

The best way to say goodbye 2/15/2010

My Peanut was suffering and in pain. I said goodbye to him the most beautiful and amazing way that I could have ever hoped for. Thank you Dove Lewis for being real with us about our baby and making our last experience with him as lovely as he was. You were far too expensive, but you were honest and kind.\r \r I am sorry that others feel that they did not have as great experiene as we did. I will miss my best friend forever, but will be grateful to you for as long. Pros: Professional and kind Cons: Very expensive more

BEWARE OF DOVE LEWIS AND JOSH CRUZ (DVM) THE WORST 1/24/2010

FIRST OF ALL THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS THE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY, EVERYTHING ELSE SUCKS! THESE PEOPLE ARE ALL ABOUT MONEY! HOW CAN EVERYDAY PEOPLE AFFORD TO SAVE THEYRE PETS WITH QUOTES LIKE (3,000-6,000) FOR AN INTESTINAL BLOCKAGE. FIRST OFF LET ME SAY NEW TO THE AREA AFTER RELOCATING HERE FROM SO.CAL ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO.ADMITTED MY FRENCH BULLDOG AFTER REPEATED VOMITING, AND LACK OF APPETITE. MET WITH ""JOSH CRUZ DVM"" HE PERFORMED 1 XRAY THAT SHOWED AN IRRITATED BOWEL, HE COULDNT BE 100% SURE IF THE GREY AREA SHOWING THE SMALL INTESTINE WAS BLOCKED, OR IF IT WAS GAS (GAS SHOWS UP BLACK ON XRAY). HE THEN BEGAN TO TELL ME THAT HE FELT DUE TO THE SYMPTOMS, THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH BLOCKAGE IN THE SMALL INTESTINE, WHICH MADE SENSE. JOSH CRUZ (DVM) THEN QUOTED ME 3000.00 MINIMUM TO START AND CAN EXCEED UP TO 6000.00 SURGERY ALONE, NOT INCLUDING PREP (BLOODWORK,XRAYS,)ETC. FIRST I WAS EXTREMELY SHOCKED AT THE AMOUNT THEN I PROCEEDED TO TELL HIM I COULD NOT AFFORD THE PROCEDURE, DUE TO MY RELOCATION, WE THEN DISCUSSED OTHER OPTIONS SUCH AS: EUTHASASIA, I WAS VERY UPSET TO DUE THE FACT THAT SINCE I DONT HAVE 6000.00 GRAND IN MY ACCOUNT I CANT SAVE MY BEST FRIENDS LIFE? I THEN STARTED TO TEAR UP AND START TO CALL OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS BACK IN SO CAL TO ASK FOR SOME SUPPORT. I GATHERED UP 2000.00, WHICH WOULDENT EVEN GET THE PROCEDURE GOING. HE THEN ESCORTED ME TO THE ROOM IN THE BACK OF THE FACILITY WHERE YOU SAY YOUR LAST GOODBYES, THE VET TECH BROUGHT OUT MY DOG AND ""JOSH CRUZ DVM"" THEN PROCEEDED TO TELL ME DUE TO MY FINANCIAL SITUATION, HE FELT EUTHANASIA WAS THE MOST HUMANE WAY TO GO, I WAS STUCK, NOT ENOUGH MONEY? I WAS THINKING OF VET CLINICS IN THE AREA SINCE IT WAS A SUNDAY NIGHT NOTHING ELSE WAS OPEN? HE THEN TOLD ME HE WOULD GIVE ME A FEW MINUTES ALONE WITH MY BUDDY TO SAY MY LAST GOODBYES. THE VET TECH CAME BACK IN WITH A CONSENT FORM STATING THE EUTHANASIA PROCESS, WHICH THEY WANTED ME TO SIGN, I REFUSED!! HE THEN REPLIED"" YOU NEED TO MAKE UP YOUR MIND I HAVE OTHER CLIENTS"" I WAS SHOCKED AT THE WORDS THAT CAME OUT OF HIS MOUTH? RUSHING ME TO SIGN MY BEST FRIENDS LIFE AWAY, MIND YOU, MY DOG IS ONLY YEAR AND A HALF OLD. I THEN WRAPPED MY BUDDY UP IN A BLANKET AND PROCEEDED TO WALK OUT OF THE ROOM INTO THE LOBBY AND DEMAND: PAIN MEDS, NAUSEA MEDS, AND FLUIDS WHICH TOTALED 280.00 I THEN LEFT ""DOVE LEWIS,"" TOOK MY DOG HOME AND PRAYED FOR A MIRACLE , THAT NIGHT GOOGLED ALL VETS OPEN ON WEEKENDS, FOUND A GODS SEND BY THE NAME OF ""TUALATIN VET CLINIC"" . I THEN RUSHED MY DOG OVER THERE WAS IMMEDIATLY GREETED BY THE FRIENDLY, AND COMPASSIONATE STAFF ESCORTED TO THE ROOM, XRAYS PERFORMED (MORE THAN 1, AT DIFFERNT ANGLES OF THE INFLAMMED INTESTINE) GIVEN A QUOTE OF 2000.00 AGREED AND SIGNED AND THE SURGERY WAS A SUCCESS, THE DAMN DOG ATE A HAZELNUT WITH SHELL, (BULLDOGS?) (CAN YOU BELIEVE DOVE LEWIS AND JOSH CRUZ DVM ) A REPUTABLE VET WOULDENT EVEN GIVE ME A REFERRAL? THOSE HEARTLESS B_STAR_DS! I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE SURGEONS AND STAFF AT THE EMERGENCY VET CLINIC OF TUALATIN FOR THEIR COMPASSION, SERVICE AND UNDERSTANDING! YOU HAVE TO BE RICH TO SAVE YOUR DOGS LIFE AT ""DOVE LEWIS"" IF YOUR NOT, ALL YOU GET IS A URN WITH ASHES! PLEASE BEWARE........... Pros: WEEKEND AVAILABILITY? Cons: PRICES, THE SERVICE, THE VET ""JOSH CRUZ (DVM) BEWARE more

Cruel Belittling Experience 8/18/2009

We took our SADDI to Dove Lewis in early July of 2009 because the growth on the side of her mouth had become infected. I was completely upset when we went in, knowing our financial situation would make it difficult for us to receive proper medical treatment, but I had heard Dove Lewis had a history of helping people n our situation. The nurse who came in was very polite, but said there was little she could do for us and we should go see our regular vet (which we didn't have one) as it would be less expensive. The nurse didn't even give examination SADDI, just basically told us the services at Dove Lewis could not help us because of our situation. The follow day we went to West Slope Animal Clinic and as soon as the doctor saw SADDI he said ""Oh my that is nasty looking"", without so much as a thought for our emotional state. He said he was not an expert on cancers and suggested we go to another doctor that he gave us the information for. I tried to call twice and received voice mail each time, so SADDI, Devon and I drove to the address. It was at Dove Lewis. SADDI and Devon waited in the car while I went inside to explain SADDI's condition and our situation. The receptionist who helped me was quickly dismissive in suggesting Dove Lewis couldn't help us that even for the doctor to look at SADDI would cost $90.00, which we didn't have. The lobby was full of other patients with more coming in and out. I stood there being belittled and in tears. Emotionally I was drained and had to sit down. The receptionist looked at me and said ""I don't know what you want us to do for you"", as everyone looked over at me. Barely able to speak, I begged her to just help our SADDI. PLEASE. She released a heavy sigh and began searching the Internet to find other vets who could help us with our situation. She wrote down a few names and numbers and then said, in a very belittling tone, ""This is all I can do for you"". We then went to St. John's Companion Clinic and saw a very understanding and seemingly caring doctor who prescribed pills for SADDI to fight the infection and she said it could even possibly shrink the growth=2 0and possibly make it even go away. We should try the pills and return in a couple of months. The pills worked to clear the infection, but did little for the growth. We in less than a month later and saw a different doctor who said we were basically given false hope with the pills and SADDI should have had surgery to remove the growth. He offered to do it, confident he could remove the entire thing. We left feeling hopeful, but still confused why Dove Lewis couldn't have at least started us on the pills. Four days after the last vet visit, we were forced to put our beloved SADDI to sleep because she had become to weak to even stand and would not have survived to the scheduled surgery. After 13 1/2 glorious years of love, devotion, joy and friendship, SADDI died in my arms at the Tualatin Emergency Animal hospital, where we were treated with respect, tenderness and understanding.\r \r Dove Lewis needs use there funding raise money to train their employee's to be compassionate, understanding and humane. Pros: One star is too many for Dove Lewis more

Horrible Experience 8/2/2009

This was a horrible experience for my cat and I. I will never go back to Dove Lewis and do not recommend them to anyone. I took my kitty here after a Saturday morning trip to my normal vet didn't produce answers and my cat seemed to get worse. Dove Lewis suggested I bring him in based on the symptoms I gave (They told me is was likely a blockage). I waited over 2 hours before hearing anything about the status of my cat. Then I was called into a room--essentially they didn't know what was going on. The doctor suggested a pain injection and pain meds. And a course of antibiotics in case of a UTI. Fine. I then waited another hour for them to prep my kitty and pay. The bill was $205. I should also insert here, my kitty is very DIFFICULT during an exam---which the doctor should have easily seen. What do they give me for meds? Oral syringes! I told them there was NO WAY I would get my cat to take any of that---even put on his food he wouldn't eat. Another 20 minutes later they finally changed the meds to pills.......and oh, surprisingly it was $38 dollars cheaper. This place does not care about pets OR people. They're interested in profit, and have horrible service. I will NEVER go here again. Cons: High Fees, Long Waits, Zero Answers more

sad situation, good care and kind staff 7/11/2009

I read through most of the reviews here (and on insider pages) last night debating whether or not to take my cat in to Dove Lewis or another facility, as over the course of a late afternoon he'd gone from normal to clearly seriously ill. I decided to go as it was closest to my home, and as soon as I walked in a vet performed triage at the front desk and diagnosed a urinary blockage - we'd suspected as much given this cat's prior history with urinary problems. After an exam that included lab work and pain meds, I was brought to a private exam room and told that my cat was in seriously critical condition (and I was showed the results of the lab work), and given my options. I decided to euthanize - he was an hour or two away from natural death as it was, and this way at least was painless. From the moment I walked in the door, to the time I left, everything was handled in what I can only call the best possible way to lose a pet. I was given time, privacy, and support. I was able to pay beforehand and leave by a private door. I was able to hold my cat while he was given the injection, and I was able to have as much time with him before and afterwards as I wanted. Going home with an empty cat carrier is surreal, and it's not supposed to feel good (and it didn't), but I thank the staff at Dove Lewis for making what could have been a terrible experience as gentle and easy as possible. more

THANK YOU DOVE LEWIS! 6/29/2009

Our coonhound was suffering from lower back problems and was in a lot of pain. On a late Sunday night we googled area animal hospitals and settled on Dove Lewis because it was close to where we live. When we walked in we were greeted by the front desk. They quickly called in an assistant to find out the seriousness of our pup. He was able to walk in the clinic and wasn't bleeding, so we did have to wait. While waiting several other animals came in; a dog that ate snail bait, a nest of birds that fell, a stray kitty. Every animal that walked in was quickly checked to see how serious each situation was. Of course snail bait dog went before us, and I am glad they did. I couldn't image the stress the snail bait pooch's parents were feeling! The vet discussed every option we had and the pricing of each (I am a recent college grad=broke). I felt like I was in control of my pet's care. Everything was fully explained and how I should follow up with my veterinarian was explained as well. The facility is clean, welcoming and state of the art. This place is much better than any human emergency room I have visited. Their service, staff and facility is top notch. THANK YOU DOVE LEWIS! Pros: Great NW location, 24/7 & 365 Cons: Long wait (remember, it IS an emergency room) more

Bumme that this is the only one open on sundays and holidays 5/26/2009

My neighbor had gotten home from work to her dog in the front room with a half eaten label of pest posion. I rushed her and her dog to Dove Lewis because it was a sunday and a holiday weekend. We get there and a man comes and asks what happened and then has her fill out a paper with information on it. He then tells her it will cost $75 for an exam, its a standard exam price and $40 for them to have the dog vomiit so they can check to see if theres anything. So she was fine cuz she knew she had enough for that. They took the dog and were there for about 20mins. A lady comes up and takes my neighbor in the exam room to go over everything and when she came out she was mad because instead of it originally being $40 it was $100 for the inducied vomiiting.. She didnt have enough money for that. I said I will cover it cuz she was about $50 short. Then when the lady comes back up and talked about he medication needed she wouldnt give a price, so we were asumming it was fairly cheap.\r Well they printed her off a copy of the recipt for her to go over and the total was $418.. that is wrong. You dont quote someone one price then jack it way up when its over and your stuck. The receptionist was rude to us and all of the other clients, which didnt help the anger she already had.\r All in all I would never recommend this place unless your rich for whenever one of your pets get into something or get hurt. Pros: They helped my neighbors dog. Cons: Everything. more

Given no choice but euthanasia 4/28/2009

So many heartbreaking stories all sounding the same. My 6 yr old cat woke me up at 3 am moaning and panting -- I saw bloody fluid on the bedding. I immediately got dressed and took her to Dove Lewis. Her blood-pressure and temperature were both low. They gave her IV fluids and talked to me about the probable cost of finding a diagnosis and treatment -- more than $2500. I did not have the money, but offered them a down payment and making payments for her care. They refused and suggested a better alternative would be euthanasia. I was devastated and humiliated, but felt I had no choice. To this day, I don't know what was wrong with her. She was playing and eating normally the day before. I wrote Dove Lewis a check for almost $400 for her care that morning. I will never recommend Dove Lewis to anyone and am angry that they have fund drives for charity cases -- who are those cases? Pros: Can't think of any right now Cons: Many... see above more

Superior Treatments There 3/16/2009

I have taken two different cats in there with serious emergencies with far more thorough, definite, systematic efforts on the part of the vets seeing them than anywhere else by far. I used to use SE portland animal hospital, and drive the extra distance to get to them, but the difference between the two animal emergency services is noticable from the front desk all the way to the bill.\r With one of my cats it was unclear what was wrong with her, we just brought her in thinking her leg might be hurting her because she was making pain noises when she tried to stand up. They didnt hurt her further or waste out time trying to blindly figure out what was wrong. They simply and effectively ruled each thing out and quickly figure out that her breast plate had been broken! We got to keep the xray and they gave her the latest in pain management meds. You could tell she improved before we had even left the clinic.\r When my sibling's dogs got poisoned it was the same thing. They knew exactly what to do and wasted no time (or extra money) trying to figure out what MIGHT work.\r I asked for one doctor's regular practice # so we could see him for non-emergencies and he was so ethical he said the vets there couldnt advertise for their personal clinics while on duty at emergency.\r I love that place for their sincere, no nonsense approach to helping an animal in serious need. Pros: most thorough, cleanest, nicest, fast service Cons: can't use them as regular vet, only emergency more

Good Emergency Vet, and I should know! 2/23/2009

I have taken my dog and two cats to multiple emergency vets throughout the years (two other vets here in Portland and others while traveling) and this is by far the best experience I have in a long time. I brought my dog in around midnight on a Friday, which meant I waited a bit to speak with the doctor. They did take my Vomi**** dog to the back right away to get pain medication on board as she was very very painful. The doctor came out after an hour to get my permission to run both a blo** and urine tests. Because I was honest about not having a lot of money to spend they were very up front about the cost of the tests and the medication. I found out through the labwork that she has kidney problems, and they would refer me to a specialist who could help manage the issues long term. After about three hours (it seems like a lot of time, but there were so many things happening that the wait was not horrible) I received detailed discharge instructions and medications from the same nurse who took my adorable dog to the back. I was very impressed with the professionalism and compassion of all involved on such a busy night/morning and I will take my pets to Dove Lewis for future emergencies. They are no longer at this address though, they are across the street at 1945 NW Pettygrove. Also, bring your laptop, they have free internet and that would have made my visit even better if I could have done some work... Pros: Well staffed, compassionate, good smelling Cons: parking lot was full, wait time more

is there a NO star option for the review? 2/9/2009

After we got the prognosis on our loving kitty, the WONDERFUL staff at Cedar Hills Vet Hospital recommended that we took our cat to Dove Lewis immediately in order to save her life. As we walked in, they asked us to fill out some paperwork instructed by an abrupt and emotionless person. I glanced through the whole area and boxes of tissue were everywhere, you would THINK they would understand what emergency hospital environment should be. Well, as I was in tears and had to ask my husband to fill out the paperwork since I was about to lose it.... we can hear the staff behind the counter laughing and joking around. So that was real irritating. Cedar Hills Vet have told us that there *maybe* a funding assistance for those who needs it at the Dove Lewis so we asked them about it. The woman quickly responded ""yeah, there has been a misconception going around. It is not true. Yes we do have the funds available but that's only for the doctor to decide in which case would receive the funds. May I ask which vet told you this?"" After I said Cedar Hills Vet she almost laugh and she was whispering and laughing with another assistant about it. So that was real professional. On the paperwork we marked that we agreed to the exam fee but please talk to us first before doing anything to our cat. After an hour of talking to the doctor - right before she walked out the door she said ""oh, so the fees will be the exam fee, $35 injection to calm her down, and $12 for the oxygen, ok?"" We were stunned and walked out to the main sitting area again getting ready to pay. My husband mention that on the paperwork we wanted to talk to the doctor first so we can authorize any treatments, why were there extra fees? She went to the back and talked with the doctor and they took the $35 off. The issue isn't the money here, the issue is they have no compassion for what they stand for. EVERYTHING they mention was about MONEY!!!! Pros: nice hospital and that's about it Cons: coldhearted people work there more
