Doral Billiards & Sports Lounge

I went to play pool here around the 4th of July. This place has really gone done in quality lately. The service was horrible. Took me 15 minutes after sitting at the bar to get a drink order in from the rude bartenders who seemed more interested in sitting around talking to each other. When i finally got my drink it didnt even taste like what I ordered. I drank it down quickly so i wouldnt taste it. Made perfect sense when i found out the bartender was not even 21. Why would anyone not legally able to drink have any clue as to what a real drink is supposed to taste like??!! I mean, not everyone knows how to make a Jack and Coke right? *sarcasm\r \r I almost tripped on the old raised carpet on the way to the bathroom. The bathroom was just as bad as the service from the bartenders. The floors made my shoe stick, and the bar top was so grimey that i couldnt stand even putting my elbows on it. I mean, im used to hole in the wall bars but i just wish I had chosen\r \r What a difference a few years and change in Management makes. more

3.5/5 Stars\r \r I had a chicken quesadilla at Doral Billiards Sports Bar tonight and I am now sure no one visits this place for the food. People visit this joint to watch pay per view fights, play pool, or have a beer (from their very limited selection). Overall, it's a nice place, but don't expect good bar food. more

I just moved to Miami and found this place after work. I couldnt believe a pool hall could be so nice. The service is amazing. The staff is constantly make sure I have all I need. After only 2 weeks they all know my name and what I drink. They have amazing Chicken Wings. more

Went there a couple of times. Since they are mostly a bar, smoking is allowed in the place and it is like walking into a fog, and the place is kind of loud and obnoxious. I dealt with my clothes smelling like an ashtray and the noise a couple of times. But the last straw ended up being lousy service. The last time I went there, we had been playing for about 45 minutes and not a single waitress offered us menu's, drinks, nothing at all. Went to the manager at the counter and complained about the lack of service, and he was like ""oh well"" like he could care less. Have no interest in ever going back, and with the smoking and the noise, I really can't say that i missed the place at all since I quit going. Dave and Busters has better service, better tables, better food and it is completely Non Smoking. I would rather pay more and have a good time than waste my time at this place. The girls are very friendly, the management very helpful. Great place to shoot pool w/ friends, while avoiding a ""trashy"" crowd or being hustled out of a table, because they have so many! Pros: Very good prices on drinks, ample space, plenty of t.v. Cons: Little bit of a wait on Friday nights. more
