I am not sure of the negative reviews, because I come to visit my sister in law and her husband and I always go to donut days bakery and they have a very nice staff and pay attention to what you want. The donuts are awesome and company is good. AWESOME! PLACE TO GO FOR ALL YOUR BAKERY NEEDS! more

Lisa he offered you a refund but you were afraid to take it? Thats the dumbest thing ive ever read. I guess you would rather come home and write a short story about your dollar coffee insulting the owner eventhough he offered a refund. You spent 1 dollar. Get a life. Im sick of people like you that have nothing better to do than complain about the smallest things. Im sure you know more about coffee than the owner of a doughnut/coffee shop. This place is amazing. This review is based on my experience with the taste of the donuts at Donut Days Bakery, for I have never been there. My wife recently visited Lexington to stay with some cousins. Now my wife knows what a donut connoisseur I am. So when she was ready to make the trip back to West Ky. , she stopped at Donut Days Bakery and got me an assortment of donuts that I might like. WOW.... I've had my share of donut over my 46 years. These rank right up there with the best. Now I had these donut a day old and can only imagine how scrumptious they would be fresh off the rack. to Lisa S. I have been there and the cofffee is weak. I don't know what it is but I think it is all the time. I don't go there anymore as a result of that. I do agree that they can be rude at times. more

The owner of this place is a mean snob. To me he was anyways. It had been some months since I'd visited Donut Days. Since I liked their coffee and donuts allot me and my son walked 2 miles to get there just the other day (Saturday). The young girl who waited on us put my sons pastry on a paper but part of it got lain on the dirty glass counter. Neither of us said anything but my son was not happy having had to worry about germs. My donut and my cupcake was good but my coffee was different then usual; it looked very watered down. It was pretty weak coffee. And so I went up and asked for the owner; the old guy. And I told him the coffee was different; I told him it was weak. I couldn't believe how rude this man was to me. He didn't offer to make another pot of coffee nor did he offer me a refund. Well he may have offered me a refund but I got very nervous and I couldn't ask for one. I just asked for another cup and he says well this is your 3rd cup and he makes this mean "and 3 cupts a more

Great donuts and friendly staff. You'll be surprised - try them out. These donuts ended up in Ace Magazine's Donut Wars and, if it had been up to me, would have come in second only to Spaldings for that type of donut. However, they also have more flavors, icings, and options than Spaldings and, due to this, I agree with the BEST of Lexington review below. Just yum. It's dangerous for them to be so close to my house; I drive through the donut smell often. Sooooo tempting. more

If you're looking for a good doughnut that will stays fresh after a day, than stop at "Doughnut Day's" it is well worth it and the owner's are real nice it is alot better and cheaper! than "Krispie Keams" and their name is catchy to . Try it out more

If you are looking for the best donuts in Lexington, Donut Days is the place to go. The donuts are delicious, reasonably priced, and are even good the next day, as many other places aren't. They make these treats called Bon Bons, that are to die for!! Try them out!!! more

Donut Days Bakery on Southland Drive is the best place to get not only donuts for breakfast, but they do an excellent job on cakes. I got my wedding cake from Donut Days and it gave rave reviews at my wedding. The price was excellent when compared to other local bakeries, and the taste was extraordinary. The employees took the time to help me decide which cake I wanted, and even added the special touches I requested. If you are getting married or even throwing a party on a budget, I highly recommend Donut Days Bakery. Just because you're on a budget doesn't mean your cake has to be of lesser quality.
