This place has the small town customer service feel. A technician named Wayne helped me cut a mirror and did it fast and answered my questions about proper mounting. All the girls smiled and said hi as they were busy on phones helping others. Great job Dons! more

What great, professional and knowledge service. They added a shower enclosure in the front bathroom and replaced the old one in the master. They were competitively priced and did great work. When they left never even knew they were here they left everything so clean just beautiful new shower enclosures. We were very pleased with every stage of the process of service. more

Great service, wonderful people and high quality. 11/17/2009

I had my front windshield repaired about 6 months ago, great job on that. I had the same windshield replaced last month after a truck kicked up a rock on the freeway. These are good people, been around since the 60's. I've never had or heard anything negative about their work, staff or quality. I usually don't write reviews but I have seen that Jean M. negative review cut and pasted on a few different sites so I just wanted to respond and give you the other side. I'm in business myself and I wish I could say that everything is always perfect in the world of tires but the fact remains that sometimes things do go wrong; but when they do I promise you that like Don's, I do my best to resolve with as little of an inconvenience to the customer as possible. Dons Mobile Glass is the best glass company in the Central Valley! 8/18/2009

I strongly disagree with Jean M?s review of Don?s Mobile Glass and have had nothing but positive experiences with them since moving to Modesto over 20 years ago. It would appear that she has patronized 168 businesses in Modesto and has had the time to review each; I wonder though if these experiences were her own or just based on another persons experience that she heard about, as is the case with her daughter and DMG. I question this because I feel that strongly about the service DMG has given me over the years, not to mention the very strong community support and presence Don?s is known for.\r \r In the past 20 years I have used Don?s for three windshield replacements, two rock chip repairs, sunscreens, a shower door that complimented our bathroom remodel project nicely, one broken bedroom window from a stray baseball, and for the only and last glass cleaner I will ever purchase!\r \r Each time I have found their staff; including the CSR?s, the technician?s, the management, more

Rude and unhelpful 11/12/2008

Dons Mobile Glass has been in the community for a long time. They used to do good work. However, I no longer recommend them because of my last experience with them. My daughter had to have a window on her car replaced because of vandalism. They did the work but the window kept sliding out of the frame and they could not tint the window. When we tried to have them fix the window they said it was not their problem and were quite rude. They said if I wanted to bring the car back, they would charge $80 to determine if it was their problem. If they determined it was not, they would keep the $80. I went elsewhere and had to replace the armature on the window which they should have noticed had a problem when they did their work. more

    Anyone that has attended the Modesto's Concert in the Park series at Graceda Park every summer has surely seen Don and his wife, Gloria, with the antique Model-T car and the popcorn machine. They are out there every Thursday night, enjoying the music, passing out bags of popcorn and visiting with local residents.
