I declined the option to have a second panoramic x-ray taken at the conclusion of my orthodontry. I didn't want the extra radiation for what seemed to me to be minimal benefit. However, because of a mild sleep apnea condition, I'm being fitted with an orthodontic-like device -- and the dentist (Dr. Horchover/Seattle) required a panoramic x-ray, particularly to view my jaw joint. Because the Seattle lab has a digital x-ray machine (the Bellevue lab does not), the radiation is far less -- so I agreed to have a panoramic x-ray taken. I asked them to email a copy to you, which you should have received... so now Dr. J has the end-to-end story. Warm regards, Jack
