I love shopping frugally, and this includes going places like the dollar stores popping up everywhere.
One of my favorites is Dollar Tree. They don't rely on getting undeliverable merchandise cheaply. They have their own suppliers, and have a lot of quality items for dirt cheap prices.
I've found nice plate sets for kids for $1 each piece- Barbie bowls, Spiderman plates, Precious Moments Cups, etc.
I also love shopping for beauty supplies there. One of my favorite cosmetic lines is the Physicians Formula Retro Glow. It all comes in vintage looking containers (like eyeshadow made to look like a cameo, etc). Lately, Dollar Tree has gotten a LOT of these Retro Glow items in, which I love!
One thing that bothers me about this particular store is that often, they leave many boxes stacked in the aisles. It makes it hard to get at the merchandise, and to navigate the aisles. The shopping carts are also very run down, with more and more missing or out of service. I think they need to buy more, or repair the ones still left.
Overall, it's a great shop, with lots of fun items.
