Dog Holiday

Dog Holiday surpassed our expectations both times our golden retriever stayed there. The people really take the time to get to you know your pet. We have never seen Nicki so relaxed and happy at a boarding facility before. I am pretty sure she had as much fun on her vacation as we did on ours! I never write reviews on anything, but in this case, I just had to as they do such an outstanding job. We would never go anywhere else. more

We have taken our dogs to Dog Holiday Kennel 4 times and each time our dogs were returned to us with happy, smiling faces. They get a lot of play time while they're there. They never seem stressed when we pick them up. I didn't give them five stars because sometimes they seem a little disorganized when you drop off your dogs, but that doesn't bother our dogs! more

I absolutely would recommend this place if they choose to board their dog or needed Doggie day care. My dog Mickey was kicked out of two previous day cares and I was at my wits end with him. He is part boxer and Lab who is very high energy. I felt bad leaving him on the porch all day as myself and two daughters work full-time. He needed to burn some of that pent up energy and my small backyard just wasn't cutting it..So I thought well..... maybe three times will be the charm for him,so I called Dog Holiday and they said bring him in to see if he will pass the test in his reactions to some of the other dogs. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least, as he passed . He has been a regular now and typically goes there 3 to 4 times a week for day care. Georgia and her staff have been so wonderful and kind and always greet Mickey,myself and two daughters everytime we drop him off or pick him up.They also interact with him and just don't throw him in a cage and ignore him. I feel it's reasonably priced and most importantly he minds better now as well. He's tired to the point of exhaustion so he's not under foot and most importantly our shoes are now nice and safe. I can honestly say that he must of destroyed 16-20 pairs of shoes, 4 leashes, dug about 8 holes in the backyard,ruined 3 blankets, 1 remote etc. etc. etc. As I get close to Dog Holiday he sticks his head out the window and whines, his tail is wagging a mile a minute and he can't wait to get out of the car to play. I tell anybody that will listen that this place is the best thats why it rates 5 stars.The only thing it's a bit far but I'm willing to make the trip so that he's happy and I'm at work knowing he's at a great place having loads of fun!!! My two dogs had never been to a boarding kennel before as I never had good experiences with previous pets at kennels. This time I visited a number of kennels before choosing Dog Holliday. My two dogs are very different and at Dog Holliday, you can customize each dog's stay and what they do each day. They encourage you to call as often as you need to to check up on your pets. They are not only friendly and nice to you, but very loving to your pets. While there, one of my dogs needed to see a Veterinarian. They not only were observant enough to notice the problem, but called me and with my permission, took her to a Vet. Thanks to the professionals at Dog Holiday, my dog was put on medication she needed and was so much better when we picked her up. My dog plays with the other dogs at the kennel and he comes home happy. The groomer is great, you can tell she's good to the dogs. I will never take my dog to another kennel after having been to this one. Pros: group play, grooming, heated floors, cage free Cons: hard to get a reservation more

I've never seen happier dogs at a kennel than at Dog Holiday, and I've visited many kennels in the area. Huge kennels, dogs that get to play and socialize with other dogs, super friendly people, great prices. My dogs love it there and I can tell because they get really excited the minute I turn down the road. Pros: Lots of space, Dogs playing together Cons: Kind of far away, but well worth it. more
