The above comment is not true. Dr. Doerr and the other veterinarians do recommend tests that are an optional part of the visit, and they discuss why they are recommending them. If you ask how much the tests cost they provide this information. They certainly do not try to hide anything. Pros: Great with pets. Very thorough more

hidden fees that surprise you on the way out and leave you with a sense of abuse on the way home. 8/13/2007

we have been going to the clinic for 2 years with our 2 pups. be aware of hidden fees in suggestions from the staff for unnecessary tests on healthy dogs. we are switching to another vets office. Pros: got rid of a bad case of pneumonia on a puppy that was 12 weeks old Cons: took advantage of good dog owners with unnecessary tests without putting a price tag on it. more

Great vet 11/23/2005

Doerr Animal Clinic is a great animal clinic. They took excellent care of my dog at a reasonable cost. The staff is friendly, caring, helpful, and experienced. Dr. Doerr has had his practice since 1969. Along with the typical medical services, they also offer boarding and grooming. They also offer emergency services and answer the phones 24 hours a day. more
