Doctors Making Housecalls

Do NOT use this service!!! This place is one of the biggest cons in healthcare I have ever come across! I worked there for 3 1/2 days. It is literally a scary work environment and I honestly have no idea how they are still in business. I know turn over is really high but can't imagine why anyone stays. One of the owners literally screams at employees in front of the whole office. Threatening emails are sent out company wide on a daily basis. If your family member is a patient, God help them. They do not hire physicians with excellent credentials b/c it is threatening to the owners who are mediocre physicians at best. Also, ""auditors"" change physician documentation to increase reimbursement. Yes, this is a federal offense. A whole company email went out that stated if your cell phone was on your desk it would be taken for 7 days and you would be charged $25. I'm not kidding. They don't give a crap about patients and they don't even pretend to in the office. By the way, the review from Kronhaus is from the owner!!! Kronhaus is the OWNER of this business or one of his family members. more

Would not recommend Doctors Making House Calls to anyone, period. My mother was over-medicated to the point that she was a zombie. I had to intervene to stop the medication that was causing issues because the doctor refused to do it, despite recommendations from hospice and concerns from the staff where my mother was. more

The convenience and ease of working with Doctors Making Housecalls makes my job easier. I appreciate the great relationship I have with the 2 physicians who see residents at the facility where I'm employed. They are always professional, caring and concerned about the welfare of the residents. I think a service like Drs Making Housecalls is invaluable, especially for the aging population, who are often housebound and can't get out to a doctor's office easily. more

Doctors making housecalls provides a really great service- we were not disappointed. My father has been their patient for over a year. He is now bed bound and they have kept him from having to go to the hospital many times. They do charge for the trip to the house, but it was definitely worth it. more

I was so sick, I could not drive out of my house. A nice doctor came to treat me. I had labs and x rays done at home. Was diagnosed with pneumonia and treated that day. I was back to work in two days. more

I work at a facility in the triangle area. Dr. Kronhaus said he would come speak to our patients and then decided that he didn't have time for the facility. Actions speak louder than words. He needs a lesson in humility. His staff is nice and the other MDs are nice. Hope to never work with him. Pros: staff is nice Cons: founder MD is RUDE more

Worst customer service ever- no communication among staff, who are uniformly rude and disrespectful on the phone; very poor record keeping. Practice is convenient for a physical, scheduled in advance, or perhaps for some nursing home patients who are not able to complain about abominable lack of record keeping/ billing/ scheduling. I cannot overemphasize the number and variety of scheduling and billing errors. When these errors are combined with rude/uneducated staff and uncaring management, this makes for a very unpleasant experience, despite decent medical care. Not worth the trip charge. Outstanding ""customer service"" as well as superb medical care. Same day or next day appointments. Specializing in complex patients with special expertise in internal medicine and geriatrics. Practice provides all ancillary laboratory tests, EKGs, imaging procedures; accepts Medicare and files all commercial insurance claims. The only medical group in North Carolina dedicated exclusively to housecalls. Pros: Great care; incredible convenience. Medicare providers Cons: Files but does does contract with all commercial insurance. more
