Dr. Ameris, a lifelong resident of New Kensington, chose to return to our area to help promote a healthy, happy lifestyle free of pain and drugs. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. Her Doctor of Chiropractic degree with Dean's List honors was attained from Palmer College of Chiropractic-Florida. While attending chiropractic school, she obtained certification in the Graston technique, an innovative method to treat soft tissue and fascial injuries. Dr. Ameris is certified by the CLEAR Institute in scoliosis treatment. In addition, she is the only Chiropractor in the area to complete post graduate courses through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association earning Certification for Pediatrics and the Webster Technique for pregnant mothers! She also specializes in sports injuries, wellness, natural detox and cleanse programs. Dr. Ameris is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association..
