I first used Divas N Design when my husband and I purchased a new home. Divas N Design was unique in that the service would help us with the ""big selections,"" like carpeting, tile, flooring and paint. The choices and decisions were overwhelming, but Karyn walked us through the process and we were pleased with the end result. We paid for services on an hourly rate, letting us use the service as much or as little as we wanted. I was so impressed, that when it came time to decorate our two master bedrooms, Divas N Design was a must to bring in on the project. Karyn gave me my vision (not hers, as some other designers might do) and she made it beautiful and tastefull. We very please with the results of our design project! We started working with Karyn in July of this year (2009). Due to the economy, our budget was limited. She was very realistic when discussing our project goals and budget. After all is said and done, the project is completed and our home turned out beautiful. I love what the Diva's did to my home! I was in desperate need of an update in my 20 year old house. I called to set up a consultation in early June. Karyn and Katie came out to my house to give me a consultation. I loved their ideas and decided to hire them. The room planning ideas for Living Room, Dining Room were very creative. I never would have thought of the ideas on my own. The paint color palate that Karyn suggested for my rooms, turned out gorgeous! Mary Aileen did a magnificent job on my window treatments and draperies. I purchased my furniture through Ambiance Gallery and love everything that I got from them. Their price points are great! Jennifer was a pleasure to work with and down to the delivery guys (David & Jim), they were just amazing and the delivery went very well. Responsive and open to our individual ideas. Reasonably priced. Some furniture received on first shipment was not what we ordered but they solved the problem fairly quickly. They work with Ambiance Gallery in Highland Park which has nice furniture. \r more

We have been working with Karyn, our designer, since we've moved into our new home in July 2007. Everything has turned out magnificent! Her creativity and vision is outstanding. I had a small project to take on.... I needed to do my Master Bedroom and Family Room. I called 5 designing firms to help me with my task. Two of them never even called me back. Out of three, One said that my job wasn't big enough, another one said that they weren't taking any new clients until March '08. As they say ""save the best for last"", I called the Divas, they came right out, started my project and completed it in 6 weeks, with ordering furniture from their furniture gallery. Their gallery is wonderful! I found some great accessories that I haven't seen anywhere else, not to mention, very reasonable! I would recommend them all across the board!! We can't say enough wonderful things about Divas N' Design.....We found them on City Search back in late August. We had just moved into our home on the North Shore and it needed a lot of up dating. Karyn and Jane came out to give us a consultation and we hired them that same day. We had many visions, however, we needed some expertise and professional consulting to guide us through the process. Our deadline was December 15th to have everything that was on our priority list to be completed. My husband made a bet with me.....he said no way would everything be completed by the holidays! It is the 1st of December, our kitchen and master bathroom was completely remodeled, all the new furniture was delivered in 6 rooms, window treatments were installed and look amazing! Finally, after going through 2 Interior Designing firms......I thought I would try one more! Hiring DIVAS N' DESIGN, INC., as my third attempt, I went into it with my wall up. I was impressed with the initial consultation, however, I know how that goes. Once the project got started, I saw how Katie devoted her time to my project. She was creative, and above all, stayed within my project budget. I would rate this company excellent! Very professional and easy to work with! We hired Karyn 2 years ago to help us with several decorating tasks in our home in Highland Park. She was absolutely wonderful and a pleasure to work with! Our project took a long time to finish, as we had several things that needed to be done. She worked at our pace, which was slow, but we finally completed everything this past month. our home is everything that I've ever imagined it to be. She was so creative and talented, we can't begin to tell you! Most of all, our budget was something she promised she would stick to and she went above and beyond everything that she promised, and stuck within our budget.
