Learn and explore at the Discovery Center 12/27/2005

You have probably seen the catalogue for this place; it offers all sorts of courses in everything from the conventional; ie, learn another language, to the unconventional. ie, learn to flirt. It is a fun place to meet new people and learn new things. The last course I took here was a course by Barbara Sher about making a living doing what you love. Barbara Sher was great, I found a new girl friend, and got some hints about how to improve my life. What more can one ask from an afternoon? http://discoverycenter.cc/ more

what would you like to learn 8/21/2005

The Discovery Center offers classes in everything. I've taken swimming lessons, fused art glass lessons and have considered singing lessons, german language lessons, html classes... They also offer spots on trips to go skiing or white water rafting. The only negative is that there is no where to park near the center, and its a bit over-priced. If I had known the Fused Glass instructor had his own studio and offered classes there, I could have taken the classes for less money. more
