Discount Tire

I have been going to this location for 7 years. I have always been extremely pleased. Other Discount Tires do not match up. I originally needed tires and wheels on my new car due to the factory specs not being quality. The previous manager Mike was superior (probably the best service person I worked with - he is at Rochester now). Today I had a tire that was beyond flat. They gave me another warranty tire (for $14.75). This was probably my 4th tire. I had also taken my dog so I could walk her while they worked. They let me bring her in the lobby while we finished up. Very impressed! more

I too had a bad experience at this location. I had my tires rotated which then caused my steering wheel to shake. I went back and they found a bent rim which I paid to fix. As I drove home, the problem was still there.\r I went back and this time they balanced the tires. This STILL did not fix this problem. I was told this could be caused by a variety of problems, handed my keys, and that was that. \r I took my car to my regular mechanic who found ANOTHER bent rim. How did they miss the second bent rim? Or was I just screwed out of $250 to fix something that wasn't actually fixed? I will NEVER go back. more

I recently had a bad experience with Discount Tire at 16 mile and Van Dyke in Sterling Heights MI. I went in for a simple tire rotation and balancing at which time the sales rep told my false information in an effort to sell me a set of tire I don't need! Recently I got a flat tire on my lease vehicle on a Saturday. I went to three tire companies to get a new tire because mine was not repairable. Everybody was going to order me a tire on Monday and have it Tuesday. My husband was going out of town on Monday and I had kids to drive all over the place, so I needed the tire, but if I used a different tire, I would be charged when I turned in the lease. The guy at this store was very sympathetic, after first telling me he could order it, he then called several other stores in the area, found me a tire and sent an employee to that store to pick it up! This store is in a Meijer parking lot, so I decided to go shopping while they got the tire and put it on. I wasn't in the store more than 15 minutes when they called to say it was ready. I was very pleased with the service and convenience at this store. PROS: Went out of their way to help, very fast service CONS: None more
