Directech Inc

The DirecTech Installer came to my home to set up my direct tv on July 2nd between 8am and 12pm. The installer (His name is William and he has Bill tattoed on his knuckles) showed up and told my wife that he did not have both my HD DVR Box and my HD Box on his truck and had to call his boss. He calls and then states that his boss is going to meet him at another job and drop both HD boxes off to him and he would be back in a few hours. William failed to leave any contact info (Most likeley b/c William wasn't coming back) and then left at 12:32pm. I have recently called Direct TV 4 times and had them email DirectTech North. The worst company ever is supposed to call back within 20 mins of the email request. A ""Supervisor"" called and spoke with my wife and asked her if the story that I was telling to Direct TV was actually True!! The ""supervisor"" then stated that he would be calling her back in 20 mins. 45 minutes later I come home and my wife is trying to get ahold of DirecTech but the worst company ever's phone just keeps going to voicemail. So I call Direct TV for a third time and the whole process starts over again. DIRECTECH NORTH IS BY FAR THE ABSOULTE WORST COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. After the third time calling DirectTV DirecTech North has some random kid call me to tell me that the Supervisor is on a CONFRENCE CALL from 6pm to 9pm and that it was way too important to step away from for two minutes to give me an explanation on WHY I STILL DON'T HAVE BOTH OF MY HD BOXES. I am filing a complaint with the better business breau and going to persue this issue to the fullest extent. DIRECTECH NORTH @ (508) 427-6237 IS THE WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is now 8:03pm, I am waiting for a call from you (DirecTech Northeast). I am from this country, and DEFINITELY don't agree with ANY of Directech's philiosophy's or business practices. I actually worked there for 6 years in upper management and was there for it's inception, but c'mon. Are Unions really the answer? I bet the thousands of UAW members that are close to losing their jobs all together because the Union is killing the competitive ability of the automakers would be willing to work for a couple dollars per hour less and not be Union members. It would sure give them a better chance to compete with the other companies that are non-union, and you don't hear their employees THAT ARE FROM THIS COUNTRY complaining!! more

the last guy got it right, your probably not even from this country, and your obviously happy with making sh*t money because it's better then where you came from. you think diretech dosen't know this? look at the majority of the techs, 90% arn't from here. they know that people from other countrys will work long hard hours and have almost nothing to show for it. you obviously don't have a family either. otherwise you'd be saying different things. got a question for you. what are you going to retire on? the government? lol. your a piece of sh*t that dosen't understand one single factor about the whole directech problem. do you understand how many laws they break? how about this, the board of labor filed lawsuits againt them before the union was ever mentioned. and what about all the other directechs that the employees won lawsuits for unfair practices. man you don't get the fact that directech as a whole, the entire company is only looking for profit. they just don't care about the techs. otherwise things would change. how about that meeting we had with the CEO? has anything changed that he said would? NO! by the way in january (according to him) we are going to get paid hourly. 12 dollars an hour. i really don't give a sh*t about you, but your probably worth more then 12 bucks an hour. considering that when i worked at shaws stocking shelves i was making 11 dollars an hour. tell you what why don't you come down to a union meeting and we can tell you all about the scumbag lawyers that diretech hired and the different tactics they are using to stall the completion of the contract. which by the way i don't think you really understand this yet, THE UNION IS HERE TO STAY! and unfortunitly they have to protect people like you. you know the ones that are uninformed and just don't care about their future. you cared enough to write back to that techs wife, why don't you educate yourself on what is really going on. it's to bad you didn't fall off that roof. more

you douche! you dont know anything, you havent even gone to any union meetings and you just let employers walk all over you and your probrably not even from this country anyway. Things get worse when you fight for what your entitled to, and you just have to keep going and deal with it. at the end of this battle, the union will win and we WILL get what we deserve, there are many of your co-workers fighting and your one of the pieces of SH$# that that doesnt care, kisses a$# and is happy with piece work and no overtime pay. how many times was your paycheck accurate? you wont be bitchin when there is a contract and your job is protected and your making decent wages and your paid for your overtime and holidays will you! STOP SUCKIN COMPANY A#@ AND GROW SOME NUTS FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR FUTURE OR GO WORK IN YOUR COUNTRY more

You should shut up about DirecTECH in Boston. Some of the technicians made the mistake of voting in the IBEW now all of the technicians are starving. DirecTV does not want to deal with union and has quit giving us enough work to feed our families. As long as a technician goes to work and does his job, this is a very good job. It is the lazy people that are making it impossible for the people that want to work to make money DIrectech. more

I hope Directech goes down in flames! The way you treat your employees is inhumane. As a girlfriend to one of your finest technicians, I am more stressed out about the job than he is, and he works 6 days a week. For what, 500 bucks, whenever you decide to pay him. I keep telling him to quit but he's too hard working and has 6 kids. You've taken his van away accidentally, you've termed him, accidentally, and you haven't paid his medical bills when he fell 25 ft off a roof. Yet, he's back at work, doing it everyday and running up every last minut on the cell phone that you don't pay for. I can only say this, KARMA'S a @#"">!!! more
