Beware! If you deposit a check at this or any Dime Bank you won't be able to withdraw your money for over a month!
The banking representative never disclosed this sketchy practice when I opened my account with them, and lo and behold I tried to access my opening deposit a week later and the payment that I had sent was rejected by the bank. I incurred fees from my credit card company (because Dime refused to honor the payment request) and I incurred fees from Dime (for of all things an overdraft!).
Beware! There is a reason small banks remain small. I wanted to ""Move my money"" because of my old bank being a TARP recipient, but now I regret it.
