I have been shopping at Dick's for years and am very satisfied with the availability of products and their prices. The design of the store is unique, for example there is an indoor track surrounding the shoe department along with a big screen t.v. The employees of Dick's however are not so great. Whenever I need help with something I always ask an employee before being offered help first. Sometimes it is difficult to get the employees attention because they are too busy socializing with other employees. I have noticed that a lot of the Dick's employees are high school-aged and they are the ones I have the harder time asking for help. I feel bad asking them for help when they are caught up in a conversation with other employees. I should not feel this way. Also, this past summer I needed a one piece bathing suit for a camp counselor job and the bathing suit selection was very slim. Not only did the bathing suit department have poor selection, but the bathing suit that I decided on shrunk after wearing it only a few times. When I took the bathing suit back to Dick's they refused to give me a refund and even store credit. The two employees that I spoke with were very short with me which offended me. What I wanted to do was call my credit card company and tell them I was dissatisfied with a product and that the store would not compensate me, but I was more angry at the two rude employees and didn't want to take that out on Dick's as a whole. Other than the employees, Dick's is a fine store.
