This course was once great 6/8/2005

I use to love this course until the added concrete water drains throughout the course. Small natural creeks use to run through this course and occasionally they would play a huge role in your shots. Hole number 1 and I believe number 4 use to be perfect examples. Especially the 4 th hole I believe, this use to have a wall of trees that guarded the approach shot to the green on yopur second shot and only gave you a field goal post opening to punch through. Now its wide open and the fun is gone. Greens and fairways tend to be run down now, but it still has its occasional fun holes like the ninth andf 15th hole. Pros: $$$ low, Easy tee times Cons: not much fun, bas upkeep more

The price is reasonable and great twilight prices. Another distraction, several holes follow right along the 60 freeway, so lots of noise makes it hard to enjoy. Cons: freeway noise more

  • The Diamond Bar Golf Course in Diamond Bar, California was built in the 1960s and is part of the history of the Diamond Bar Ranch. The course was designed by William Francis Bell and is owned by the County of Los Angeles Parks and Recreation Department. This Par 72, 18-hole championship course, features new bent grass greens, kikuyu fairways and bermuda tees. Trees line most holes for added difficulty at all levels.
    In 2021 the course closed for 18 months for renovations. Renovations included the installation of new tees and sand traps, a new maintenance facility, and a new irrigation system. The source of the renovation is the requirement for freeway improvements to the SR-57/SR-60 Confluence Project. The golf course reopened in April 2024 and the facilities are ready to host golf tournaments, private events and lessons on the night lit driving range.
