Dewey Pest & Termite Control

Over the years we have used pest control companies in Seattle and southern AZ and CA. Of all the companies we have used, Dewey is absolutely the worst, both on service and their billing. more

I have had to call bug people before but Dewey in Burbank is the best! Everyone on the phone and the wonderful smart guy they sent to my house. All problems solved!! (and there were lots of bugs). Don't bother with anyone else. more

Okay, I've read the other reviews here and have to say I don't have any problems with Dewey Pest Control. I've been a homeowner for almost 10 years, and from the first month used Dewey without problems. They also did my termite work about 2 yrs ago. My folks have had Dewey for almost 20 years at their home, again without problems. I've had the same technician/sprayer for 3+ years now. I've had them spray my attic, in the house once a year, and outside monthly--again with no problems. When I had a wasp problem they were here to resolve it. My only two complaints are: 1) they don't service on weekends so I can be home (work weekdays); and 2) they don't remove spider webs from the sides of the house when they're hanging. My friend uses another company, and he tells me his company always removes webs. Maybe Dewey can add this service as a courtesy. Mind you, I've never mentioned it to Dewey as something to do but the other company does it without asking. Overall, I give Dewey 4 stars; 5 would be if they did the cob web removal without asking! We had a problem with Springtails. They don't bite or anything but we were waking up everyday to them in the sink. these idiots came by and sprayed and everything except the springtails were seemingly wiped out. They came back two weeks later to spray again as per our deal and still the Springtails are everywhere. Now they are wanting me to go on a monthly visit so that they can make more money so that they can still not take care of the job. Do yourself a favor, go outside and throw a rock. Whomever that rock hits will more than likely be a better exterminator. Pros: none noted Cons: every con there is more

After a total debacle with Terminix I decided to try someone new. I figured that it couldn't be any worse..right? Um no. Apparently finding a pest control business that can actually get rid of pests is like finding the Holy Grail.. I have a roach problem in my home (good work Terminix,) but oddly enough, I didn't call Dewey to resolve that problem. We had been experiencing a severe wasp problem around our place. Far too many to be normal (and I worried about our cats getting stung.) So I called DPC to take care of it. They came to our home three times to try and deal with the problem (with absolutely no success.) They promised to come back again to rectify the problem but never did. I made many calls to no avail only to finally get through and be told that there was nothing they could do!! What?? No apologies, no refund, no anything. So basically I footed a bill for a service I never received.. Whatever you do, mark these people off your list..they are the worst company I more

Don't bother trying to do business with these people. They made 2 trips to my house to deal with a bee problem. They were supposed to get back with me after the 2nd visit to schedule an appointment to come back and take care of the bees. They never came back and they never called. More than a week and several phone calls later they finally told me that they could not take care of the problem. What a total waste of my time. Call anybody but these people.
