Back in February of '01, my elderly cat (who I had since I was a young girl) developed a huge mass in the site of a leg break she suffered years earlier. My aunt (who has used this doctor for well over a decade) recommended me to Dr. Deam. I called and got his advice over the phone about my cat's condition. Being that she was nearly 18, he said the best I could do would be to keep her as comfortable as possible until she seemed like she was in pain.
Almost exactly a month later, my worst fears became reality. My cat was dying, and I had to take her to be put to sleep. I brought her in, the doctor was very calm, and gave me as much time with her alone as I needed after he injected her. Very shortly after this happened, I received a card from the vet's office. It was a very nice card sent by Dr. Deam, that was personalized. I have it saved in a scrap book I made of my cat.
I did since get two cats (mother and daughter), and have taken them in to see Dr. Deam for their shots. And never have had any problems there. And my aunt still uses his services religiously.
