Devine's A Salon

My boyfriend has always just shaved his hair with a store bought razor, but I wanted him to get it styled. So 2 different times he went to great**ips and they just cut his hair and asked for the money. \r \r So I went on Yellow Pages on his iPhone and found this salon. I found pictures of a style I thought would suite him and told him to ask for that, hoping he wouldn't come back with just a trim again. \r \r When I got home later and saw his hair I was so amazed!! They did such a great job, the best thing about it was the woman who styled his hair didn't just use the template hairstyle, she took features and made the style suit; him instead if scissoring a generic style onto his scalp. \r \r He did have to wait because he had no appointment, but the hair dressers were very nice, seemed to be very close, and he told me they even offered him something to eat! Lol. \r \r All of this for only $20? He will not be going anywhere else for a haircut again!!!\r \r Thank you!!!! Not only do I LOVE his hair now, but he actually takes time to style it now! I went to Devines because my boyfriend refered me to Linda. When I went in for a consultation I was almost at the point of being hopeless from a previous bad dye job at a different place that I went to. Linda told me that all hope was not lost and told me all of her experience which ranges from doing hair for 39 years, owning her own salon for 21 years and even teaching beauty school. Linda turned my ORANGE hair into the most beautiful color BLONDE I have ever seen. I will never go anywhere else again and I owe Linda so much for fixing my hair. She is such a kind, sweet woman and I would recommend her salon to anyone who needs anything from a cut to color! more

I went to jenny at divine's wanting an extreme haircut. I wanted to go from long dark hair to a short & funky bright blonde cut. Jenny cut my hair is no time....asking me in between if the look was right & showing the length making sure i was comfortable. She got my color down better than any stylist i have ever been too. I recently moved back to the Phoenix area, and immediately called Devines to make an appointment to have a cut and color. I have known the owner for 10 years and was so happy to be back in Phoenix so I could once again go to Devine's.\r \r Linda and her staff are very professional, as well as excellent stylists. It is also a positive, upbeat enviroment and they are all dolls. I am extremely picky about my hair hair and Linda has always calmed my fears by always giving me the best color , weave and cut everytime.\r \r The salon is very quaint and comfortable and now has adiitional staff Jenny, Lisa, and Mark who are all exceptional.\r \r I wouldn't go anywhere else!!!! more

While vacationing in Phoenix, I was in desperate need of a hair cut and colouring. Did not know where to go...\r Searched the internet and found Devine's Salon. Called the salon to make an appointment and got their answering maching. Left a message and Linda called back immediately. Great telephone manners- very polite and courteous. Linda made me an appointment right away with Jenny....walked into the Salon to be greeted in a friendly, positive manner - not to mention with a big smile. Jenny is super!!!! Asked me lots of questions as to what I wanted - she was totally focused on me as a customer....Best hair cut I have had in years....not to mention fantastic colour. I told Jenny I trusted her totally in determining my colour - she showed me what she wanted to do with sample swatches.....amazing....My hubby was totally impressed with cut and colour....Will I go back----- absolutely.....will I refer friends and family??? absolutely.....and to finish my wonderful experience - I received a big hug from Jenny.....Linda, you have a wonderful salon.....Quaint, friendly and an awesome staff.....Wish I could take you back to Canada with me.....Will see you again in October when we return....Thank You Jenny for Everything!!!! I loved this cute little salon. Everyone was friendly, the staff and all of the clients just seemed to get a long like family!! Very good work I love my new hair....the best red I have ever had and the highlghts compliment my color very well!! Affordable and FANTASTIC! You can't ask for a better combination. Linda and her staff are friendly, personable and great at what they do. They take the time to get to know you and your style, so you are never disappointed when you leave.\r \r Besides hair cuts and styling, they offer color, perms, make-up, nails, and facials. I'd been shopping around town for a salon for about a year. I was either unhappy with the cut or unhappy with the color. I had heard about Aveda products and found Devines close to home so I walked in one day to check it out. I had a consultation with Jenny and booked an appointment. Oh my gosh, I got the best cut and color that I've had in years. Jenny is very talented with the sissors and Aveda color is fabulous and so kind to the hair. I went to devines salon after several months and hundreds of dollars wasted at Rolphs by a level 4 stylist! My hair was a mess or as linda(owner,stylist,colorist,miracle worker) and Jenny (other master stylist) would call a hot mess!!! I had every tone of red, orange and black possible in my hair from the horrible color job my previous stylist had done! Linda spend 11 hours (yes eleven) correcting the color! Can you think of anyone at Rolphs or T&G spending that much time on your hair to perfect it ?? NO!!She fixed my hair when other stylists where too afraid to touch it and the end result is a beautiful light brown/dirty blond color with absolutly no orange tones! The ladies at devines are fantastic and they really care about making you look your best! The aveda product is phenomenal and they are a full service salon specializing in color, cut, style, nails, wax and all! I recommend them to everyone!!!
