I have been a colonic client for over 20 years. Occasionally, I have heard friends express distaste of the procedure for fear of a rupture caused by the tubing which is inserted into the colon. Only one inch of tubing is inserted into the rectal sphincter, and during the colonic procedure there is a kind, and gentle professional with you- the client- at all times! There is calm communication during the procedure, as needed, so that the client may ask any questions during the process, or express any concern or discomfort. In 20 years, I have never ever experienced pain or discomfort (psychological or physical) nor have I had any kind of puncture wound caused by a colonic! I am happy to say that I have used colonic cleansing for so long, not because I am dealing with a disease or illness- but as a preventative measure. I was a little hesitant to go at first, but Val reassured me that it was an easy and painless process.
