Our experience with Designer Furniture Gallery?s flooring department was not a positive one for us. We chose to use this company based on their ?Iron Clad Guarantee?, price matching, and reassurance of a professional crew. Imagine our surprise when we saw a crew of about five teenage looking individuals come with their crew boss. After their first day of work we found empty water bottles and containers about the house including in my potted plants and drawers. There was a thick layer of white dust on everything, which had I known about I would have covered my furniture. There was a fresh gouge in my kitchen cabinets and scratches on my new dishwasher. I took pictures of all this and sent an e-mail to the owner expressing m y dissatisfaction. To be fair they replaced, repaired, and attempted to clean, but I don?t understand why it all had to happen in the first place. I was disappointed that there was a ?crooked strip? of tile running the length of the main hallway and it was explained to me that the walls are not straight. Two weeks later I?m still finding scratches and dents on walls and trim that were only painted a month ago. The tile floor job was left grimy and cloudy from grout residue. Product information for cleaning not included, but was available upon request. Sealing the grout is not included and was not discussed as an option. The grass is coming back where they left their buckets and bags for 3 days in triple digit heat. The lawn also seems to be recovering from all the thick gray muck where they washed out their equipment. Overall the tile job looks pretty nice, and everyone was nice about it but it?s hard for me to enjoy knowing that so much damage has been done. We are not able to recommend this flooring company and when I told the owner this, he assured me he thinks I would have had an even worse experience elsewhere. Last told, this particular crew was fired, but I don?t know for sure.
