We worked with Design Lines last year on a first floor remodel including our kitchen. Our 1st floor was covered in beautiful (but very dark) walnut paneling and while we knew it had to go, we were concerned about having an ""antiseptic"" space. Silly us. Design Lines worked with us to come up with a design that not only worked well in the space but also worked with us and our workflow. This was a big renovation for us and we were new to the design process. I couldn't have asked for a better partner than Design Lines. They were informative, creative and extremely patient with us as we considered important details. The kitchen I have now is perfect - truly - and perfectly us. But, never in a million years would I have come up with the design and colors. The whole design is timeless; it fits our house and neighborhood perfectly as well as us. The point here is that sometimes you bring in a firm and they design what you tell them you want and they tweak it slightly. Not the case with Design Lines. They brought a whole new concept to us including new materials we would never have thought of. I truly could not have gotten to this finished product without them. Our countertops are the most amazing granite and we would never have found it without Design Lines' guidance. \r

When it came to the actual renovation, they worked flawlessly with our builder - someone they had never worked with before. Our builder became part of the team not someone on the outside looking in. Design Lines worked as patiently with the builder as they did with us. In addition to a beautiful and well functioning space, Design Lines helped us with the finishing touches such as curtains and dining room table. All items have been top quality. We had an issue with one of the dining chairs and Design Lines came by to pick it up, delivered it to the manufacturer so they could match the fabric perfectly, and delivered the chair back to us. Now that is service! Again, a fabulous job of finding just the right (and right priced) furniture for the space. \r

Oh, what happened to the walnut? Design Lines helped us incorporate touches of walnut throughout the space as well as other touches that gave us that warm feeling we relied on the walnut for. Again, they are super listeners. I would recommend Design Lines in heartbeat! \r
