I LOVE GOING TO DESERT SUN! ALL THE BEDS ARE AMAZING EVEN THE LOW PRESSURE ONES WILL GET YOU TANNER THAN EVER BEFORE AND I MEAN, C'MON, EVERYBODY LOOKS BETTER WHEN THEY'RE TAN!!!!! THE MEN AND WOMEN THAT WORK THERE ARE EXTREMELY NICE AND THEY GET YOU IN AND OUT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. IF A CERTAIN BED THAT YOU REQUESTED IS BROKEN, THEY WILL UPGRADE YOU, THAT ONE TIME FOR FREE! I love this location the BEST out all of the Desert Sun locations the Girls and Guys are very professional and always greet you with a smile. I f there were more businesses like them there would a lot more happier customers in the world. They don't pressure into buying products but will go out of there way to make sure you know of any deals going on to help you save money and that is what I like about them.There Place is always clean and and there beds are awesome the only one thing that needs to be fixed is there should be radios in every room 19 & 4 other than that excellent service and I tell all my friends to go to this location Thank you staff more

Lakewood Desert Sun is my favorite tanning salon, they are friendly, and provide great service. They also have all the newest tanning equipment (spray tanning, versa, mystic) and a wide selection of lotion. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a nice tanning facility, that is looking to walk in and get fast great service. more

I have been going to lakewood desert sun for over 3 years now, year round. the ENTIRE staff they have are just super! It makes my day to go in and see Sam, Katy, and all the other faces. The energy there is positive, happy, and they are very clean. Also, they always say ""goodbye"" to you before you exit which gives this individual salon a personal touch. I first started going for heath reasons and have been hooked ever since because of their customer service and quality, extremely well maintained beds. I would never go anywhere else, whatever the price (i am not prosperous and they can always find a deal for me). They also definately know their stuff. You could ask them any tanning question and they would know the answer, or find out for you. Ask them about lotions and they could tell you everything about every single one! I always find the perfect one for my needs.Thank goodness for businesses that hire quality people! more

I have been going to the Desert Sun in Lakewood for over two years now. Never a bad experience. The place is ALWAYS spotless, the girls are friendly and helpful. They have the best beds ever and they always are changing their bulbs. Most of my friends go there now. One of them drives 20 miles just to go to Lakewood Desert Sun. They are the best of the best. A friend brought me there. I used to tan at Pink Coconut and two other Desert Sun's. This place is beautiful, fantastic beds, and the girls there are the most helpful girls I have ever dealt with. I feel so welcome when I go there. All of the other places that I have gone to treat you with such indifference. My only suggestion is to call ahead...they are VERY busy. Pros: The best Tanning Salon in Tacoma..by far!!! Cons: Busy more
