PGA professional: Randy Burross
Course description: An extremely long course, which is basically flat with trees that are starting to come into play. There is OB on both sides of every hole. The well-bunkered greens are average-size with subtle breaks. The rough is unusual in that it's hard pan instead of grass.
Signature hole: No. 18 434 yards, par 4. This hole often plays longer than listed because it plays into the wind. The approach must contend with a lake in front of the green. A safe route exists to the right; play left and you must carry the hazard.
Best birdie chance: No. 15 541 yards, par 5. A slight dogleg left with OB on both sides of a generous fairway. The green is open in front with bunkers on either side. The green slopes a little from back to front.
Play policy: No restrictions on public play. Carts are required and are restricted to cart paths. Carts are included in green fees. Walking is not allowed. Collared shirts and spikeless shoes are required.
Reservation policy: Seven days in advance.
Directions: From Interstate 25, exit west at exit 101 onto U.S. 50. Continue on U.S. 50 approximately seven miles to McCulloch Boulevard. Turn left on McCulloch and proceed approximately one mile south. The course is directly behind the Best Western Inn at Pueblo West.
Fees (18 holes): Weekdays $13/$8; Weekends $16/$10. Carts $10/$5.
