There wasn't any sales pressure, but their prices seemed a tad higher than other places - that's probably due to their classy office space, which is gorgeous! I HATE root canals, and I have a mouth full of them at age 61 (due to poor dental care in my youth). Dr. Goldberg is in the same practice that my primary care dentist is in, so that it how I met him. He is working on his 4th root canal in my mouth (a tricky one on a cracked tooth we are trying to save). I must report that his work is EXCELLENT! He has a cardinal rule, however, by which all patients must abide . . . that being, There Shall Be No Pain. A patient is required to signal at any sign of discomfort!!! From his needle at the beginning to the end of the procedure, I have experienced NO PAIN. I have full confidence in Dr. Goldberg and his assistant . . .I feel that I am in good hands they work on me. I close my eyes and let them do their thing! Dr. Goldberg's manner is reassuring (I'm a baby), and his assistant operates like an extension of him. Dental work is pricey, but to have a ""working"" mouth is so important to me, that I bite the bullet and pay. I recommend Dr. Goldberg to everyone!!!!! He is just superb. He combines outstanding skill with care and sensitivity for his patients and values his long-standing relationship with them. I recommend him highly. The cost of services is reasonable. Who would have thought to say ""fabulous"" about your dentist!! Dr Trauring earns the highest grades in all categories and must be one of the very best. Extremely professional, perfectionist with a sense of humor, explains more than you would ever think of asking, sunny offices, friendly staff, and surrounded by an excellent group of collaborative colleagues. I came to Dr. Trauring in need of a large number of crowns as a result of years of grinding teeth. I also needed gum work and, it turned out, a number of root canals. I was certainly apprehensive and wondering whether I was at the right place. After consultation with each of his colleagues who would make their particular contribution, a plan was developed, and they each executed their particular specialty while sharing their observations and supporting each other in working most efficiently and effectively. Having this many tallented and supportive Drs at one location is a real plus. The work was not inexpensive, but well worth the price, and smiling for the camera is now a pleasure. I could not speak more highly about the people at Dental Partners of Boston. I am surprised to say that I miss my visits to the office. more
