While the prices are a bit more expensive the atmosphere is nice. I like to go here and look around at the Halloween and Christmas decorations. I wont buy anything here unless it is on clearance though because the prices are high. At the right time you can get a deal. I would never go here for the 4th of July weekend or the day after Christmas although the place is a madhouse you literally have a line to get in the parking lot to get a spot and can't even move around the place forget about getting on line to but something. The great deals of 50% off the store doesn't make it worthwhile to me. Another down side to this sale is that you cant even bring your pocketbook in the store with you. more

Dee's Nursery & Florist 8/21/2005

Dee's Nursery is a store that I can remember going to for nearly all my life. They are famous for their annual July 4th Half-Price Sale where people would camp out on line for days ahead of time. They recently added a greenhouse to their already massive location. They also have a haunted house on the premesis for Halloween. Their prices are high, but it's always been a treat to go and get something there -- whether it be something as simple as a bottle of apple cider or a new ornament for the Christmas tree. more

I cannot stand this nursery. Not only are the prices completely outrageous, but they are absurd as well. I don't understand how they can possibly stay open while charging so much for their merchandise. Just getting some sod, fertilizer, and flowers here will cost you a week's pay, and the owner is a nasty old man as well. This place won't give snow away in the winter time. more
