I rated it one star, because there was not a 0. This company is dishonest, uncaring, and will do everything they can to keep your deposit. You would be better to rent from the homeless shelter. If you do decide to go ahead and rent, you will forever wish you had not. more

This is a horrible company. They lost our paperwork and the fence they said would be fixed prior to move in STILL is not fixed a year later!! It has nails sticking out of it and it is about to fall over (it would have already fallen over if it weren't for my husband's cables holding it up). It's really sad. more

They take forever in getting back to you on the simplest matters. And forget about having something major done, like fixing a window that they said would be fixed prior to your move in. We moved in in Aug and it took them until late October to fix a window in my daughter's basement room. We had jimmied it and did a ghetto fix to keep bugs, critters, and the frost out. When the repairman came, he told me he wouldn't tell Davidson about our own repairs...because if they found out, we would have been charged. Do NOT rent from them if at all possible. I gave one star because I can't give 0. more

They will do all they can to retain your deposit to pay for damage you didn't cause and to make improvements on things that were not in new condition to begin with. The move-in and move-out check lists won't help you. They will find anything to keep you from getting your deposit back. Almost, if not all, of the reviews on the Internet are from dissatisfied and angry former or current customers. If you have to rent from this company, photograph and/or film every part of the property and document all damages and anything not in new condition on the day you move in. If at all possible, rent with another company. more

My husband and I are currently renting from Davidson's and it is a hassle. They have a horrible track record of calling back. If you don't call or email 5 to 6 times it won't get fixed nor will your questions get answered. When you call the rental office the only one who has some kind of customer service is the receptionist. Every one else has such a attitude. and it really sucks because I love this house and the owners are amazing. They make simple task like getting the sink or an appliance fixed rocket science. It took us about a good 5 months or so just to get the screens fixed. Its annoying because we are military and we have NEVER been late on rent because it comes out of an allotment but our service is the worst. If we had the money to move I would move but unfortunately we don't. I wish I would have read reviews and looked at BBB even they have an F rating there before renting from them. If you do deal with them record all conversations and annotate everything they say to you. Its frustrating to be holding up your end of the deal and have them not hold up there end of the deal. more
